Luigi's Mansion is a classic. While the game didn't receive much fanfare when it originally launched on the Gamecube since everyone wanted a new Mario at launch, it has garnered a lot of love since then & people have come to appreciate what this game offers.

Back in the day when GameCube was Nintendo's hot new console. Luigi's Mansion was the game that made me run out and buy the console. The idea that Luigi was starring in his own game without hia big brother Mario and as a inside joke/nod to Ghostbusters (one of the greatest movies of the 80's) blew my mind. I loved that game so much and when Nintendo announced they were bringing it back I had to get it. I was slightly disappointed they decided to release it on the 3ds over the switch there new hot selling console. But I'm just glad it's back with new features and upgrades. The fact this game can fit on the 3ds is a testament to just how powerful that little handheld is. If you never played it before you will love it. And if you have then you don't need me to tell you why it deserves to be on your 3ds so get out there and bust some ghosts Luigi style.

I never got to enjoy this game on the Game Cube, so when t was released for the 3DS I jumped on this one. Controls well on the New 3DS and finally got to enjoy this entry before Luigi’s Mansion 3 is released next month. Definitely recommend picking this one up while the 3DS is still available.

I always felt ashamed I never got to play the original, despite my sister owning a GameCube, but now my dreams to play it have come true, and for retail price, too! I love how different this game is in comparison to its sequel, but also how it maintains some quality of life changes to gameplay and graphics.

When this game originally came out on the Nintendo GameCube all those years ago, it was an instant classic and so adorable and clever in its style and animation. The gameplay is great as you suck up ghosts looking for a kidnapped Mario and the graphics, especially in 3D have never looked better.

This game comes back from the nintendo gamecube to be played on the Nintendo 3DS. It plays exactly how I did but the game runs faster than it did on the gamecube. If you wanted to know how one of the first luigi staring games played, this is where you should go.

This game is just as fun to play today as it was in 2001. Nintendo did a great job porting this game to the 3DS. Although the game is somewhat short and there is not a lot of new features in this version, I still recommend buying this port to experience this game on the go.

From my son who loves old Classic Nintendo games and systems. This version of Luigi’s mansion plays like the GameCube version only with much better graphics. Better boss battles and overall better game play. This game has to be added to the collection for Mario/Luigi fans.

This game was so much fun on the Game Cube, how could I resist it for the 3DS? There's a few added bells and whistles as an upgrade for 3DS, but otherwise it's the same story line. If you loved it then, you're still going to love it now.

This is a remake of the Nintendo GameCube classic which was an amazing title. It's very faithful to the original and if you own a 2DS/3DS this is a title you should own. Only downfall is it should of been a Switch title...

If you played this on the GameCube you know exactly what you're getting into. It's fun and endearing and funny. The 3DS doesn't add a whole lot to the experience, but if you just want to play it again, this is a great way to do it.

I have never played the original Luigi’s Mansion on the GameCube, but put in tons of hours into its sequel, so I was pretty excited for this game. It’s fun and atmospheric, but by trying to map the originals controls to the 3DS translated into a more frustrating experience, especially in view of how the sequel got the controls right with on stick. I recommend it regardless, but mostly for new 3DS owners.

A great port of a fantastic Gamecube game that actually made me want to play with the "3D" capabilities on (which was a concept that wanted to be implemented back in the day that never made fruition nearly 20 years ago). Owners who have played this game before can beat it in about 5 hours with a decent amount of the treasure they've accumulate, but it has so much replay value you will want to come back for more (me personally I've gone through this game around 20 playthroughs during my time growing up til now). There is even a newer hader difficulty added that is similar to the Pal version of the Gamecube version from back then. You can scan a few Amiibos to get a few unlockables or make the game a little easier as well (Mario, Luigi, Boo, and Toad).

I had never played the original on Game Cube but I loved Dark Moon so I had to try this when it came out. Great game. Enjoying it so far. Multiple control options are great, I prefer using the c stick as opposed to motion controls.

purchase for my 10 year old boy. He likes the game because it's challenging and stimulating but also feels like there are too many rooms, it's a bit too much to keep track of. It's almost too hard. as a dad I think it's a bit goofy to pay $40 for an outdated game. I'm glad he likes it but I wish it was half the cost.
