To start, this is not to be compared to Hypervolt or Theragun, it is in its own class of device. While they use varied levels of percussive force, this uses rhythmic pulses to nudge and knead the body parts being serviced. That being said, it does a great job of finding the right balance between pressure and relaxation. The unit is very sleek and compact. I took it on a recent trip and the suitcase profile was minimal. All attachments, minus the extension handle, fit snugly into the charging cradle. Indonwish the device would lock or snap into the cradle as it can be knocked off rather easily, but if stationary, that shouldn't be a problem. The initial setup to wifi was a bit tedious, and it is necessary to get the device working due to a needed update. If you have mobile connection issues, be sure to try another browser. I had to go through 3 to get the web address to sync correctly. But once connected, the update was fairly quick. The main screen has four subcategories. Once you make your selection, calm for example, you are taken to a sub-menu where you can either use a guided routine or go manual. The routines seem to focus more on pressure points rather than larger muscle groups. It does the trick but I do wish there were more variations/variety to the routines. In time, I hopenthey add more, but for now, they're fairly sparse. If you go manual, you still get the rhythmic pattern to use to suit your needs. The massager has three levels of intensity, with the third packing a nice little lunch for really kneading an area. Battery is excellent, but a major gripe is there is not manual off switch, it only shuts off due to inactivity. While packing I had to wait for a shutoff before placing in my bag as the screen would react to anything it touches. Which leads into my next issue. The screen is extremely sensitive. It can be manipulated by any object touching it. And if it's touch while in use, it automatically ceases use and returns to the sub-menu. Due to the contour of the handle, this happened to me several times while trying to find the right grip for usage. Not so much a problem when using the extender handle, but worth noting. The extension handle is a great accessory for hard to reach areas, and it works well and it very sturdy.it does not come with a charger, but it uses USB-C. You have the option of wireless charging through the cradle or manual plugin. Inloke the option. In closing, I do enjoy and appreciate the niche this device fills and besides my "issues" I would still recommend it to store looking for a portable way to massage the day away.

Not good. The on/off button on the LCD screen is too easy to hit when using it. There should be a lock feature when it's turned on. Otherwise the extra functions are ok but I mostly use quick start. I'd say there are much cheaper options that are better.

For anyone who is looking to try out a massage gun this one is truly versatile! It's great for people who need varying levels of a massage. The three different levels are relaxing, energy and deep tissue all of these options have 3 different intesity levels. Highly recommend!

Love this, I have another one from a well known company and like this one better. I feel like the other one is meant for some one to use it on you and the lyric is meant for you to use it on your self. Great fit and finish. Only complaint is we’re I hold it is on the touch screen and it pauses it. I need to retrain my self.

Great device. A little pricy, but the charging dock and appearance make it easy to just leave on a nightstand or table without looking haphazard. Works well for massaging sore or tight muscles.

One of a kind, never though that a simple massager can have these many features. Wifi connectivity is awesome you can customize as you like. It a true inovation in this industry. Adding acupressure point is awesome.

I purchased the Lyric massager on 4-27-22. When I took it out of the box, I immediately took notice of the sleek and lightweight design. The massager gives a great massage and has some nice features. Unfortunately, the app is still in development. The unit is touch screen. But they placed it on the handle which makes it difficult to hold the massager without touching it, and causing the massager to turn off. In addition, when using the charging stand for the massager it gets extremely hot. I do mean HOT! Which is a safety concern for me. For that reason alone I'm returning it.

Worked well in the beginning and really helped relieve tension in my muscles but I think there are too many unnecessary features that are hard to navigate. My massager stopped worked and made weird noises after only about three weeks of use so I had to return it

I’ve had entries from theragun, hypervolt and even a generic brand percussive massage device… this is my least favorite of the 4. My complaint is simple - why on earth is there no continuous option? I actually love the concept of the different modes, but the lack of ability to have the motor continuously pulse in the same speed is a deal breaker. Sometimes you need to just hit a certain spot and this thing disappoints majorly. It also doesn’t get very strong even on the highest power (which is ironically “calm” mode”) - I highly recommend getting the hypervolt, as it is the best I’ve tried for sure.

Hi. Thanks for the feedback. Glad that you left this because we have already addressed your needs! It sounds as though you didn’t connect the device to WiFi and download the latest firmware. Because when you do, you’ll have access to the “Level” mode, which offers the steady frequency you’re looking for. Also, the new update offers a more powerful option that you’re craving. This is the benefit of a connected device - we’re continually improving the experience based on user feedback - something other devices are not capable of. If you’d like to give lyric another try, we’d be happy to send you one with the new firmware update. If you don’t like it, we’ll give you a full refund. Just reach out to us at [email protected]. lyric
