it's a mac but mini, but not mini in stature or quality. It has a small footprint so good for tight spaces. Runs Big Sur like a dream

This is my first Mac computer and I am loving it. I have always been a PC user, but now I will stick with Mac. The setup was very simple. The big learning curve is figuring out how to do things on a Mac vs PC (e.g. you “X” out of a program on the left instead of the right). I really like that it links into my iPhone seamlessly. I do a lot of photography and this is extremely helpful since my photos appear on both devices. I highly recommend this powerful little fella.

Love the new M1 chip super fast. 8gb plenty for what I use this machine for never a problem. Added an external SSD for extra storage and it is a true value and powerhouse.

The Mac Mini looks fantastic on my 32in ultra widescreen monitor! It fast, easy to set up and has all the integrations with the Apple ecosystem I could want! Great purchase!

Runs great. No complaints here. Wish Apple would add a few more ports to it but, I bought an usb multiport so it worked out in the end.

This is a powerful little machine. I was skeptical at first given my previous experience with ARM based computers. Namely Windows devices. However, it would appear Apple figured it out. Non-native apps to the M1 architecture just work. In spite of the emulation that’s happening, it’s really hard to tell if the app is actually emulated at all. The only caveat seems to be drivers and more power user oriented stuff that still in the works or beta at this time. As the architecture matures, this will be a moot point. Overall, very impressed. I’m using my Mac Mini in a home theatre setup, and also a remote desktop on the go.

For the Price and What you get you can't find a better computer.. This little guy is a speed demon!!!!!! I highly recommend this computer for anyone.

It's fast., quiet, and cool to the touch (I've never heard a fan come on). I've owned a number of Macs since the original Mac SE and this one has quickly become my favorite. I like the Mini's form factor and its ability to use existing monitors and keyboards. I also find that it's faster, quieter, and cooler than the 2014 Mac mini that I also have in the house. I've also had no compatibility problems with software and hardware. It's successfully driving a LG 34" Ultrawide monitor at 3440x1440 resolution with a USB-C cable. Others have complained about the lack of ports on the Mini, but quite honestly with a USB hub you should be able to connect as many devices you want to the Mini. I have 2 USB hard drives, a USB webcam, a USB microphone, a USB selfie-light and an Apple USB-lightning connector for iPhone/iPad/Apple keyboard. No problems. The 8GB RAM/256GB SSD of memory is sufficient for what I do (browsing, MS Word/Excel/Powerpoint), music, video playing, light photo editing and some light development work). I've hooked up an external hard drive so I can offload data that I really don't need to be on the SSD (music and photos). Two caveats to anyone that is looking to purchase this (or any Apple Silicon based Mac): 1) Make sure you do not need to run Windows or Linux either through VMWare Fusion/Parallels or Boot Camp. While Rosetta 2 will allow you to use Mac applications that run on Intel Macs, it will not let you run Intel-based Linux or Windows operating systems (either via BootCamp or VMWare Fusion/Parallels). Look to one of the remaining Intel-based Macs if you need this capability. 2) Get the memory and disk configuration you want at purchase time - especially memory. Neither are user upgradeable. You have a bit more flexibility with storage since the system does have Thunderbolt and USB ports.

Big fan of mac as a whole, so this thing didn't disappoint. Was a tad slow but honestly at 8gb of ram that wasn't too surprising. The m1 chip helps a ton though.

What else can you say about apple product. They work and work well, the design is always sleek. The mini is a great way to save space. Ditch the tower and try a mini

I love the mac mini desktop. The size of this model is amazing. It is so fast and efficient and has greatly improved my work productivity.

Got it to make paying bills and managing my life easier. I also use it to get some work done at the house when I need to. Does the job and works great with all of my devices. Could have come with a keyboard and mouse. I was shocked to find that this didn't even include a hdmi cable.

This is my first Mac device ever. The ease of the Mac OS user interface was the main reason I switched. Never regret on my decision

Very powerful. It performs much better than the Macs my school supplies in our computer labs. Great for designers, but I wish I got the 16GB option for more RAM

What can I say. It's the latest Mac mini and continues the lineage of being fast, quiet and compact. Really more computer than the average web surfer needs.

Amazing little computer, dead silent, ton of power in a tiny package. The only drawback would be the amount of RAM if you are trying to do any heavy lifting.

Reviews are spot on from the big Tech reviewers. Its fast, capable and works great. There are some minor hangups from software but Im glad to have gotten the M1.

Very nice computer. Looks exactly the same as the older model, but this one is much faster. It was easy to set up, and is working without problems so far.

Runs smoothly. Easy to set up. Does more than the last one. I’m addicted to Apple and so glad I stuck with buying the newest version.
