Replaced an old 2014 Mac Mini and this thing has power, great for anything you can throw at it for everyday computing functions.

Apple is Apple, expensive but good. You can buy without fear.

Finally upgraded from my late 2009 Mac mini. Super fast and quiet, did not work with older Bluetooth devices so had to get a new mouse and keyboard as well.

Working great so far but still very early. Fast enought for normal tasks. More memory recommended for more demanding applications. Mac OS easy to get used to. Not a machine for complex, heavy CPU, graphics , memory demanding games.

My 2015 MacBook Pro started having heating and rainbow wheel issues under heavy load during photography and film editing. The Mac Mini has held up on photography incredibly well. My Adobe suite is up to date and the Mini held up with the editing really well. I doubt I’d have as much success on the video end, so I’ll be waiting for the M2 lineup to come out. For light business tasks, email, and photography, this has been a refreshing breath of fresh air to use!

Easy to transfer my previous files, pictures etc. Really lower price for replacing my previous Mac mini.

This is my second one I bough amazing saves space and time not wasting money on any other desktop this one takes the cake

The computer is responsive and quite fast. Memory is low but it does what it says it will do

This is a fast little machine for what I use it for. It is my daily office machine for web use and creating office documents. It is very responsive to everything I have done so far. Not sure how it would handle high end graphic work or music editing. The 8GB of memory is fair and seems to do well. While I do feel the 256GB SSD is a bit undersized, it hasn't been an issue using cloud and network storage for everything. We will see if it becomes an issue down the road as I begin to install and use more apps.

The Mac mini deserves more than five stars. I love this one the most because we can buy it piece by piece making it more affordable. If you have another or all the Apple products, aka iPhone iPad, they all sync together, Notes, email, photos, and Reminders. And Apple computers can’t be hacked. And in the long run they do cost less. No need too too buy a new operating system when they come out. No need to buy a virus protector. And over the years it pays for itself.

Fast, priced right. I could not get a small footprint Windows PC at the same price point with the same power and speed.

Even though it only has 8GB of RAM is still find it to be very responsive and fast. I develop iOS apps and it handles everything very well.

Faster and more efficient than my old MacBook, so far. Hooked up tv as monitor, no problem. For the price, it beats purchasing a Mac or laptop.

So this is not the first M1 Mac Mini that I've had. It's a nice desktop with limitations, but the performance to price is pretty great. It does lack a couple more usb c/thunderbolt ports and an sd card reader but that's ok since you can add a hub/dock. The mini is much faster than any other intel mac minis of the past. Packs power, literally power supply is in this tiny case. I have never heard the actual fan. I know it has one, but have never heard it.

I use this mainly as a Plex server, but also as a file server for the computers in my home. If movies and shows are important to you, this is the way. I've bought cheaper devices that had similar functionality, but always had problems with equipment. Set this to restart everyday and your Plex server will always work as expected. Despite being on most of the time, the M1 sips power compared to any i5 or i7 based computer. Happy with my purchase.

My first Mac! Almost automatic setup. No noise and no heat at all. A Very fast computer. Love it! I
