This is the first desktop computer I've bought in quite a few years, and am glad I made the purchase. It's very fast due to the M1 chip and I am able to do a lot more with it. If you are looking to get a desktop computer again, I definitely recommend it. It works perfectly with my old HDMI monitor, too!

I had the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar 2020 version gave it to my dad since I work from home I have 2 monitors and my work computer. To save space and time I got this Mac mini instead I don't have to unplug my work computer to plug the Mac mini in its connected through HDMI and alway ready to go when I need it. These machines are very powerful.

Replacing my 27imac that dropped of my desk no apple care. GET APPLE CARE!!! I just use this for home/office but it works well. Small enough to hide out of site. I use it on my living room Samsung 65 works like a charm. Can’t think of my pros other than the fact that it’s an Apple product and works as expected. The M1 is dare I say noiseless. Cons Speaker is overall worthless but I didn’t buy it for that. “Solution hooking it up to my tv and wireless Bose 700 works more than any other computer speakers” easy free fix. Currently Apple is working on a screen issue where the screen seems to copy itself and move the next picture of it self down over and over again so it looks like a wall of the normal Home Screen. This comes and goes by itself. Plus you can see everything your doing still just has an odd ghosting look to it. I purchased the magic non 10 key keyboard regrettably. Which I would’ve got then full size keyboard. But it also works amazing. Just personal preference. Also purchased the Magic Mouse works like a charm. No more batteries for either. I used batteries a lot in my older keyboard and mouse. Overall very pleased and will buy another without blinking an eye. Should I need one.

Very fast and user friendly. A big improvement over my 2010 mac Air.

The new M1 macs are an amazing leap forward in computing performance. The machine is silent and cold to the touch doing advanced 4K rendering. My Macbook Pro 16inch would have all fans on and be very hot under a similar load. It does have some limitations when trying to do CPU/GPU intensive tasks (tasks that require lots of cores/threads).

Cheapest and fastest computer you can buy right now. Runs 2 monitors with a game and video playing on each screen without any lag. Only gripe is the storage capacity but an external HDD on thunderbolt or a NAS takes any storage problems away. Highly recommend a bigger iCloud storage for offloading your documents to the cloud to save space as well.

Runs great and is easy to use. A bit bummed that my Steinberg UR22MKii wouldn't run on it but that's a minor item. Otherwise a great unit.

Such a great addition to the Mac collection for a great price. The M1 chip is the best and very fast. Would definitely recommend to anyone who already has a keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Was also happy I got a price match with Best Buy. All in all a good purchase with no regrets.

I was really surprised at the speed overall compared to Intel processors. Combined with the M1 processor and fast m.2 drive these mini's really are a great desktop for most uses. Of course if you are needing to do heavy graphic loads or very processor or memory intensive then you would most likely be better off with another solution.

This is the best computer I've owned, especially the best desktop computer. I don't have an M1 chip laptop yet, but this one works great. The laptops are supposed to have faster chips available. The only downside is limited storage, but I'm using a 2TB external drive (that I already had) for supplemental storage.
