Mind Blowing Hardware!

Editing and compressing videos takes minutes. Coupled with a new LG 4k monitor and I'm good for another 10 years. My last mac Mini was a 2011 model. It still runs like a charm. The evolution of hardware has left it behind in the dust.

M1 Mac Mini

Use case for me game streaming game pass and stadia and work spend sheets and a office media hub. M1 processor is excellent compared to intel version. Im all in on Apple ecosystem. For me the desktop is more versatile than a iMac and fits my workflow excellent.

This mini is replacing my 2015 27" 5k etc..... The M1 combo is a nice mix, and it will only get better. I think it will last for a while as long as the company doesn't continue with that every few years idea. I will repost in 10 years..

I have been able to run Final Cut Pro on the 8GB of RAM with 0 issue it handles anything I do with ease. Runs super cool even doing a Final Cut export I haven't heard the fan come on and it stays cool to the touch. My 2018 Intel Mac mini would have been hot with fans full blast.

There is some data that is difficult or impossible to have on external storage (Mail files, iCloud data, Box files, OneDrive files, etc. I should have gone for the 512GB, but that was my choice. The 8GB memory has not been an issue. Upgraded from a late 2012 Mac Mini.

This is the pardigm shift for cpu performace exspecially with being an arm cpu and a now amd/intel asset.

The little beast that can

Got it on sale and now I'm officially a Mac user. I have step over to the dark side. Its little hard to get use to it but Google solve most of the learning pain for me. I don't game so this M1 mini is faster then my i7. Money well spend.

I sent it back and a new one came in. I managed to set it up, and am discovering my first apple computer. Very energy efficient and uses very little space. I am using it with solar energy.

She's thrilled with it. My only issue was that for some reason Migration Assistant wouldn't let me choose a Time Machine backup to transfer her files. But I was able to manually transfer them from the TM backup and all was good.

M1 - 1 year later!

I bought the BASE MODEL and it out performed my $3000 2019 16 inch MBP. I edit H.265 Sony A7SIII footage on it and it never seems to stutter! Works great. Best bang for the buck. Every Mac user should have one of these.

The M1 chip should've been implemented long ago. I'm a photographer a d videographer. I do a lot of editing for photos and film. This machine takes the cake...GET IT

I love the power packed into this small computer. It was easy to migrate all my data from a previous computer. Because of the small storage size, I’ll be using an external SSD hard drive which will take a little getting used to. But I highly recommend this product.

Smooth transition
