Great little machine

I bought this to replace my aging 2012 MacBook Pro and that had served as a desktop more than a laptop. As expected, the M1 chip provides tons of speed and the 256 SSD is more than enough for me as I store most of my data in iCloud. Also, this thing runs World of Warcraft like a champ, on lower settings, of course. Super pleased!

Can be a Great Choice

There was a field in the installer that was supposed to be highlighted but it wasn't. Apple support was no help, they said it was Brother's problem. Brother said my model number was supposed to work with Mac but because of that dimmed out button, they couldn't make it work either. Apple said it was Brothers problem, Brother said it was Apples problem and I certainly didn't want it to be my problem so I exchanged it for a Windows machine and had everything up and running in a matter of minutes. I love my iPhone but doubt I try another Mac computer.

By now everyone has a keyboard, mouse and monitor. Just hook them up and you’re good to go. If you have more than 2 USB devices, get a hub or the adapters for the lightening ports. After a power outage, it restarted in less then 10 seconds. Programs load almost instantly and I have yet to see the beach ball. The M-1 chip is clearly a big step ahead of anything else.
