Mac mini still a great little machine

About the same cost, when all together with a monitor of your choice. Bring your own devices and plug 'em in - it'll work!

Total Failure after 1.5 Years of Light Use

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked great for about the first year - 1 year and 5 months after purchase there was a catastrophic failure in some unknown component on the main board (hard to pin down as everything is connected - so if one part fails the entire thing is basically junk). Took it to a Apple authorized repair shop and they wanted $150 to evaluate - plus whatever hardware and repairs would be. Very disappointed in this product - as failures like these were what pulled me to Apple to start with over 12 years ago. Last Apple hardware I will be buying for a long time
