Replace my gaming desktop for half the cost with this small platform system. I wasn't disappointed. High speed video loading and graphics are awesome. I use an iPhone an the integration is amazing. I love working on my phone and resuming at my desk seamlessly. Outstanding value. M1 chip is a major breakthrough!

Good quality computer. Very small footprint. Quiet and easy to use. Dual displays through the HDMI and USB-C ports. Bluetooth keyboard connected flawlessly, but it would have been nice for them to include a keyboard with the computer. Would recommend external storage device as well (256GB isn't enough if you store a lot of photos / videos). Boots fast because of SSD drive. Would definitely recommend for simple computing needs.

This is a really fine way to get into the Apple Silicon world Apple is introducing. It is a modest machine but that is what the mini is all about. This is a new machine and OS so I am feeling charitable. I don't mind the two USB-3 ports, I deal with the limited storage by having an external 6Tb disk. The price drop is a really good sign as minis were getting pricey. I think it is a really good value for the money

I purchased this as an audio-video editing platform, as I understood that the M1 chip was optimized for those tasks. This little box has not disappointed me. It is quiet, quick to boot up and load the software I use, and the editing is smooth and easy. The onboard word processor and presentation software are also sufficient for what I want.
Overall, I am pleased with this product. Apple does what it does well.

Loving my MacMini. I had an older generation Mac Mini for a while. It was time to upgrade. The set up is very easy. Apple does a great job in preloading the apps. This Mac Mini runs super fast too. I can download my videos and pictures with ease from my iPhone. I already recommended the Mac Mini to two of my family members. Its great having a faster computer. I plugged my Mac Mini into my television and it is awesome!

Due to COVID I been working from home to a recently purchased a new monitor, then I seen that Apple released this Mac mini that is affordable with their new M1 chip so I decided to add this to my desk setup, and let me say this computer is amazing and blazing fast!!! I’m coming from a 2015 MacBook Air so this is quite the upgrade for me. I only needed the 8gb base model since I’m not a content creator or power user I mainly web browse, watch media, and light video editing. If you’re a regular consumer in the market for a new desktop computer I would go ahead and get this.

I had a 2018 Mac Mini with the Core i5 processor and a 5500XT eGPU attached for video processing. While this combo worked great, it was loud and both the Mac and eGPU generated a lot of heat. The M1 Mac Mini is on par with performance and does so silently. Only downside is the lack of ports (2 TB3 ports instead of 4 on the intel Mac Mini).

Fantastic way to get into the Apple M1 chip. The Mac mini is blazing fast and extremely quiet. My only gripe with it is that it only has two thunderbolt ports in the back. I would highly recommend getting one of those slim line docking stations for it. I ended up returning it and going with the MacBook Pro because it better suited my needs. But for $700 this Mac mini is unbeatable.

Replaced my Macbook with this Mac Mini, as I felt that using my Macbook exclusively as a desktop system with monitor was placing undue strain on it. This M1 is great. very fast and runs super quiet. Great starter Mac system for someone who does light gaming and internet browsing.

Top class desktop package in a small form factor. The Mac Mini M1 takes up little no space on my desk. The new M1 chip outperforms so many others for a fraction of the cost of other devices. If you're looking for a new Mac computer that has an extraordinary value for its price then this is the Mac for you.

I replaced a 3 year old gaming pc with this Mini. I was so happy and impressed with my M1 iPad Pro and after watching a few videos of others who are using this machine, I found an Open Box deal on it so I took the leap. I probably should have purchased the 16gb RAM version from Apple, but I wanted to just get going. I’m still using a late 2012 MacBook Pro (running Xcode,) so that laptop is still so awesome, this Mini is everything I expected. I edit video with Final Cut, edit photos with Photoshop, and create graphics with Affinity Designer and it’s been great. And it runs Xcode 13 without fail. Everything they say about the fan has been true… I have never heard it run. My office is now eerily quiet. If you have a lot of external things to connect, you will need a dock of some sort. I have the J5 Create. I have a couple of external hard drives and a Wacom tablet going through the dongle. I am also using 2 24” HP monitors and the Logitech Master 3 mouse and the MX Keys wireless keyboard. No Bluetooth issues as some have said they were having. I love it. I would buy another and probably will in a few years if Apple does the Pro or Max chip in this thing.
