The M1 chip + Music Production

I am in music production and never dreamed of being able to place my workload on only 8 GB of ram, but it can handle without any problems! I would highly recommend this for basement studios!

Good value for what we need

I’m running the beta OS on it now but so far it’s been very stable and the transition to Apple silicon has been uneventful with almost everything I use. I’m moving from a 2017 iMac 27”. This was an affordable option while also keeping a 27” screen with the Dell monitor. I also like the small footprint on my desk.

So far, so good. I unfortunately can't compare it to past Mac's but it is a good computer. It did take several times to get started as it "froze" during initial install twice. Since, has been running great. Never had a PC do that, and maybe it is a mac thing as I found others saying the same thing. But I still would recommend
