Great system for a reasonable cost. Easy to setup!

Boy is this puppy fast! I couldn't believe how quickly all my apps, bookmarks, etc. appeared and were ready for action. It's stylish and takes minimal space on my desk allowing for more clutter, which I'm noted for acquiring. I heartily recommend this to anyone who appreciates stylish performance.

The new M1 Mac Mini is excellent! It runs fast, everything is a mere half second pop up of launch. Even my internet seems faster on this thing. Apps just work, the M1 really is faster like Apple says, it works wonders. I haven't felt any heat from the Mac Mini at all, it's always cold. I only feel a little less cold when it's been on for a while. This is a great buy, you will not be disapointed. In fact I've seen people do benchmarks with the new M1 in the Mac mini and it beats Intel core i3, i5, and even i7. The i9 and xeon are the only ones that can beat the M1 in benchmarks. I don't know comparisons on AMD to M1 though. Overall the best Mac mini Apple has ever made!

Great for what it is. Most people put demands on products and have no real understanding of what the thing is for. The Mini is one of those. From the inception of it people have loved or hated it. This new one may bridge the gap for some. While it still isn't in the Pro lineup it does a pretty good job all the way around. We bought this one primary for live streaming church services and doing a few other light tasks in the sanctuary. Prior to getting that setup complete I worked on some Photoshop Lightroom edits and iMovie. So much better than the 2015ish mini. So much faster. Still not up to a new MacBook pro but the M1 chip has a blazing startup time and getting things done in a pinch for moderate computing is accomplished with ease.

Replaced my 2014 Mac mini. Super fast. I use it for music production and streaming. I would recommend the 16gbs of RAM if you can get it. It does slow down when processing a lot of sample audio at the same time. Other than that…no issues, blazing fast and overall great.

Excellent in every way. Lightning fast and so easy to set up and use. This replaces a 2012 imac and the difference is astounding. These things are just so easy to navigate and paired with a LG 4k monitor, makes this about the best bang for your buck you will find.

Fastest Mac I’ve ever owned for a lot less money than I’ve ever paid! The M1 chip is fast! The price is lower than any of the pro line laptops I’ve bought in the past. I highly recommend this model, I’ll likely buy another one because I like it so much for the price.

Amazing fast little machine. Upgraded from a 09 Mac Pro this blows it out of the water. Apple silicon offers amazing performance per watt.

Bought two and returned both. This computer has issues with Bluetooth and WiFi. The WiFi issue is not a flaw but stems from its use of 2011 era WiFi technology. Also the Ethernet is old tech as well. The Bluetooth issue was pretty bad even with the apple keyboard and mouse. I had the same problem with a Logitech mouse designed for use with Apple. I had several calls with apple tech support who had me upgrade to Big Sur 11.2 beta. It seemed to resolve the Bluetooth issue initially but the problem came back albeit a lot less severe than it was before the upgrade. It was pretty useable after the upgrade. The M1 chip is amazing in terms of processing videos and photos. It’s by far the fastest apple computer I’ve ever owned. It’s notably faster than my $3000 2017 MacBook Pro 15 inch. The Mini impresses also because it doesn’t heat up when performing heavy video or photographic tasks. The fan speed rarely ever increases to cool it down and the Mini speeds through these tasks pretty easily. The SSD is incredibly fast also. Much faster than external Samsung’s for example. It’s a shame that such a good processor is limited by these issues.

Excellent computer for photo and video editing. Or if you just want a mac to use with existing monitor etc. Dead quiet and even under extreme load its not hot. M1 really blows me away it beats my $2000 gaming PC in single thread performance. Really excited to see this platform age.

Very well made unit and the features are strong enough for me to do my music recording in logic and edit my videos with iMovie without a problem. Compact and easy to use.

OMG - This replaced my wife's 2012 iMac, and other than not having a cool 27" screen, the overall performance boost is phenomenal. She's not using it for anything high end, so this is really all she needs - and it rocks! Setup is super easy, my only complaint with the setup is that you really need a plug in keyboard and mouse to set it up since the BT functions are set up after the computer...maybe there's a way to do it differently, but I sure couldn't figure it out. Bringing the data over from the iMac was super easy, though recommend a hardline cable as WiFi exchange was really slow. WIth the cable, took less than 9 hours to bring over about 250GB of data from the old computer.

What to say that hasn't already been said about the M1 macs, and the extreme value of the M1 Mac Mini. I use this for my music studio, and it delivers the performance that would have cost twice as much from any other machine.

I purchased an M1 Mac mini almost a year ago, and I have now purchased one for work. It's a great product and works so much better then any Windows desktop at this price point

So small, but so powerful. It's so nice to keep the clutter to a minimum. It's also great to add whatever size monitor/s you want.

This new M1 flies! I love it! Super fast, almost instant on even with dual monitors! I was worried about the 8gb RAM but for real, its plenty for my 75 tabs! Great purchase and nice perks from Best Buy!

I love Macs and have been a Mac tech support pro for 25 years. I have always had a love hate relationship with Mac Minis. They are always decent, sometimes excellent but Apple doesn’t update them as frequently as every other Mac so they can get a bit dated. The M1 Mac Mini uses the most cutting edge Apple technology, and many apps fly on it. The only three issues are that some important software has been slow to accommodate the programming changes (notably Photoshop) and copying large numbers of files can slow down noticeably. That is most noticeable using Migration Assistant to move from an older Mac to this new one. The third is that Apple expects you to use Bluetooth keyboards and mice as they only provide 2 USB3 type A ports and 2 Thunderbolt 4/USB-C ports along with the HDMI and Ethernet ports. On the plus side, it is affordable, trounces the entry level iMac’s performance and gives you the option to select the quality, size and price of the monitor of your choice. Being new technology with its Apple M1 processor, buy the AppleCare, just in case.

This thing is fantastic, I bought it to replace an old power hungry PC (and when I say old, I mean a second gen i7) with 24GB of ram in it and a 1660ti. I really never play games and video card values are through the roof, so it made a ton of sense for me to sell my graphics card out of my old PC and use the proceeds to mostly pay for this machine. I'm primarily using this machine as a Plex server as the built in one in my NAS doesn't have the horsepower to function to it's full potential, and I run the Plex client and YouTube etc so I can sync my hue lights with the content on the screen.

Fast . I like this small in size but great in performance, hope the new chip is just as good for the new phone. Wish speaker was of better quality. They dropped the ball in tha Area. To bad.

Very good product, m1 is fast and you will never hear the fans, runs so cold versus intel, just go with 16gb of ram, because yo will not going to be able to upgrade later.
