Very powerful, yet compact. A great computer that tackles any challenge with ease.

I recently migrated from an older Lenovo laptop running Windows 10 to the Mac Mini M1. I already have an iphone and ipad, so I know iOS fairly well. I am very pleased with the Mac Mini M1 and my purchase at Best Buy. It's been about 4 weeks and I have migrated most of my applications and data to the Mac Mini and from a WD hard-drive to a Sandisk SSD. I really enjoy the user experience, the speed, high quality graphics and so on of the Mac. I know that I could have purchased a new laptop or a mini Windows 11 mini desktop. However, I believe that Apples new chips, innovation and ease of use usurps that of WinTel or WinAMD. I'm NOT a gamer. Everything is not perfect, but over time, I believe it will suit my needs. My buying experience and return policy at Best Buy were very positive as I knew I had a couple weeks to try the new Mac and decide on that or staying with Windows.

The new M1 chip is fantastic. This Mini replaced a recent-vintage (2019) Mini that couldn’t get the job done. Moreover I kept getting alerts that my hard drive was about to fail despite limited use. The new machine is SSD, so that problem is solved. And the M1 zooms along much faster than my well equipped and fairly new iMac which has been my “main” computer. This machine is a game-changer.

The Mini has power, storage and speed but it is only good if you can afford an expensive monitor. I was used to the beautiful display on an iMac . I couldn't get used to the grainy screen on a $400 monitor and couldn't afford thousands more for another monitor to compare to the Retina display of the iMac. You also need a separate camera/mic and speakers if you want to actually hear it. I returned the Mac Mini, monitor, speakers and camera and got another iMac.

It’s a Mac. Just what I needed it is small and powerful.

This little iMac with M1 is a beast. I bought it for one of my kids who use it almost exclusively for Blender. Since Blender 3.1 was released, which added refined support of the M1 CPU/GPU cores, this little machine trounces her Intel-based MacBook Pro with i7 and twice the RAM and discreet graphics card.

Easy setup and great performance. The new chip is very fast.

For me this was a replacement for a Mac Pro. Though still very useful, the Mac Pro was laboring a bit with the latest update to World of Warcraft. The reviews I read about the Mac Mini were spot on! I was able to increase my video settings, across the board, and still run cool. It is also nice to have the increased performance with iMovie.

Phenomenal little machine. The power of the M1 chip is incredible, it boots up so fast, apps load up with the quickness, and apps stay in memory for what seems like forever. My only gripe is the lack of USB ports, the last gen had 4 USB 3 Thunderbolt ports while this one only has 2. Otherwise, I great entry into the world of macOS!

I absolutely love this! The m1 is fantastic. Things are faster and I have had no problems whatsoever. The only caveat is that I wish that it came with a larger SSD. It was a little hard to setup as it requires a wired mouse and wired keyboard for the setup and then once the setup is done you can use bluetooth/wireless

This is my 3rd Mac mini and this is by far the most powerful. The former model was bogged down when multiple applications were open simultaneously, but not the M1. The M1 has less RAM than the prior models I owned, but it makes no difference because the new M1 architecture is blazingly fast and powerful.

Great device. Love that it is small and fast. Set up with a cheaper monitor and I feel that I’m missing out on the color immersion experience that is so true and vibrant about Apple products. Overall a fast and efficient work computer that does processing well!

Sits and works away, doing its thing with great speed and efficiency. When I need it, it's there. A joy as a sidebar to my PC. Toggles easily on the Logitech MX series keyboard and mouse as an alternative to the PC when I need certain things. Great investment.
