I purchased the MacBook Air 13.3" with the Apple M1 chip on December 30, 2022, marking my first switch from a long-time Windows user. For my graduate studies, it has proven to be an excellent choice. The 8GB of memory and 256GB SSD manage R, Python, and terminal tasks with ease. The performance is smooth, and the battery life is impressive, making it ideal for extended study sessions. The Space Gray design is stylish, though the storage might be a bit tight for large datasets. Overall, it’s been a reliable and impressive laptop for my academic work.

Super fast processor . I have multiple tabs open and this thing never slows down. Amazing and light!

I recently purchased an open-box MacBook Air from Best Buy and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with my experience. Despite being labeled as "open-box," the product was practically brand new – everything was pristine and in perfect condition. What's even better is that opting for the open-box option saved me $30 compared to purchasing a brand new one. The MacBook Air's 8GB of RAM is more than sufficient for my needs, allowing for smooth and efficient performance. Additionally, the battery life is exceptional; I can go for two days without needing to recharge, which is incredibly convenient for my busy schedule. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase – it's been a seamless and delightful experience from start to finish.

Absolutely love this laptop! I use it for work and gaming (both steam games and the sims 4 with lots of mods and CC) and I have no issues! No lagging or slowing down whatsoever. I wish it did have more storage though.

fantastic machine, the Macbook Air M1. - 8GB is more than enough for most normal usage. Its as fast (if not faster) than windows machines w/ 16GB RAM. - the M1 processor kicks x86 butt - For the first time, an Apple device is actually cheaper than an equivalent Windows device. - lighter, longer battery life, more powerful and cheaper. Thats a killer combination. - I'm a convert to the Macbook Air M1

Great Price! The Bestbuy sales person was very helpful. Perfect for traveling and everyday use. To Apple's credit, their products are fast and work the way they should. Love that I can have so many open apps without taking a hit on performance.

I bought this computer for my son, who we upgraded from a MacBook Air 2015 4gb RAM. No comparison. He never sees the pin wheel. He can keep 15 tabs open in Chrome (a known memory hog) and never has an issue. When someone uses a computer for basic tasks, any computer should move speedily, such that no one should notice a difference. But with this computer, every page loads noticeably faster. It's great.

as a previous owner of a Mac Book Air This one with the Apple M1 chip is much faster. Access to all the programs is quicker. The Touch ID is reliable and when I use it with my password manger I'm able to open my accounts easier and faster. Very quiet and there are no heating issues. The speakers are amazing with sound quality much improved. Very happy with my new Mac Book Air

Best new laptop by far! Lightweight easy to carry. Fingerprint scanner gets you in so quickly. Graphics are just stunning. Lots of accessories to upgrade and just make even better. On the go can’t beat it and getting in on sale made it an easy decision. Sure to last me many years down the road.Battery life is outstanding will last you easily a whole day. Just no complaints at all about it.

Really nice laptop, but not worth it with the new M2 laptop Air. Larger screen, better form factor, lighter weight and performance. Price difference does make it worth it.

Thank the good LORD I have my Apple back. I made a horrible mistake and bought a Samsung laptop. I can say it is Terrible and I am an Apple guy for the rest of my life. This MacBook is smaller and has the old chip but is still fast. It suits my needs and I love it.

Apple has done it again. The best laptops are still being made by Apple. Replaced my Microsoft Surface that died with this. And sure you can argue all you want about OS preferences but the build quality is unmatched. It just works. Battery is fantastic. Lasts forever and charges fast. Screen is brilliant and it runs multiple programs with ease. Cant recommend enough. The dark grey is also just plain sexy.

I’m an Apple user through and through. I had a Mac Book Pro back in college and had it for 13 years! It still works great but I needed something lightweight for traveling and for work. The Mac book air was the absolute best replacement. So fast, amazing screen and travel friendly.

Cons: -Adaptor is needed to insert a flash drive or anything -Screen is prone to retina stains( look into it) Pros: -Portable and lightweight -Battery life is quite good -Audio is pretty decent -no fans so no annoying fan sounds
