Fragile Like Glass
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this model about 6 months ago (October, 2022), and the screen has cracked from the inside. I went to the Apple Store to see about my issue because the laptop didn’t fall or have any sort of water damage so I was confused as to why it cracked for no reason. These laptop screens are VERY FRAGILE and I was told that dust trapped within the closed laptop could cause a crack such as the one my laptop has. Without applecare I will have to pay $600 just to replace it when I did nothing to cause for it to crack. Mind you, the laptop has a screen cover, keyboard cover, and a case.Also, we weren’t told that this laptop was that fragile to this extent when we purchased it so just be warned.

Best Buy also has $200 off than the Apple Store so definitely worth the money. This is a good fit and speed for her and she loves it. The battery seems to hold pretty well and I don’t see that she has to charge everyday. She has been on it everyday since opening on Christmas.

Just know that if you have a portable HD, thumb drive or mouse that is USB - you'll need an adapter because it only has USB-C.
