I was shocked by the amazing performance that is delivered by the new m1 MacBooks. As a programmer it increased my productivity so much, everything is much faster and more energy-efficient on this machine. I would say go for MacBook air m1 unless you do 4k video editing and other CPU-intensive tasks simultaneously. And I would also say that this is the first Apple product that is good for value and is not overpriced. There is not even a single machine from the windows side that comes close to the overall performance per watt offered by the m1 chip.

This was the best purchase I ever made. Excellent battery life, lightweight and super easy to use. I use it for both work and school and there’s no issue. I love my MacBook Air.

I am still blown away by the performance of this computer. Since I am in college I have to use my computer a lot. It has been a rock so far. Over the past couple years all the windows laptops I had ended up frying and breaking after a single year of use. This laptop is working well and continues to blow me away and also moves at lightning speed.

The best laptop. I say this because it’s easy to use especially if you own Apple products so it’s easy to navigate through your things without needing to transfer everything constantly. It’s really easy to use and it takes a bit to get used to. The battery life is great, I believe I’ve only charged it 5 times since I got it in December but I hardly use it everyday. I also haven’t had any issues with it!! It’s worth every single penny. Compared to my other laptops I’ve owned it’s really great.

Thin, light, fast; it's a superb machine. If you're not editing videos from a drone then the additional ports provided by the Macbook Pro aren't necessary so you can save money by going with the Air. As a programmer I'm concerned with 8GB's being too low for memory and burning out the hard drive. However, as a student without the necessary skills to run XCode, simulators, emulators, multiple K8s clusters, and the various services for my startup I think this machine is more than enough to cover highschool and parts of college(if not all).

Been having mine for a month now and I love it. I added a pic of how it appears with a clear case that I bought off of Amazon and it looks even better and sleek (I kinda like that the logo doesn’t glow, it makes it look more classier in my opinion). Fall semester starts next week for me, so I’ll really get to test out and see how it actually functions for hours at a time. On that note, so far so good. Everything runs smooth and the battery life is great. Depending on how much you use your laptop, sometimes I’ll only need to charge my MacBook 2x a week. 10/10

I bought this for laptop going to my freshman year of college and it has performed greatly. I am now a senior in college and it's still performing greatly. It still holds a charge and can last me several days without having to charge it back up. I bought this laptop through Best Buy because there was a deal on it instead of buying it on Amazon or straight from the Apple Store. Picture quality is good sound, is great, portability is great. I am very deep in the apple ecosystem because of his laptop now. (I've also put a Dbrand Skin on it to give it some subtle style and protection from scratches.)

I love this computer. It's really fast and can run many programs simultaneously without any drop in performance. The screen is bright and high-res, and the battery really does last all day. I was worried that it would be a step down from my previous MacBook Pro, but I haven't missed a thing. I've purchased two of these, for both myself and my wife. They are more than enough for medical and/or graduate school.
