Perfect for college
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s an excellent laptop for college. It starts up really fast, battery can last a good 2-3 days with no charging, you can have multiple tabs and editing applications open with no overheating and you don’t even have to worry about the fan going off like a helicopter in the middle of class since it has a chip. Overall, it’s a 10/10 for me.

Great little travel companion.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great computer for someone with lite computing needs. It has a great battery life, great for pick up and go moments without the heft of a normal laptop. It’s perfect for surfing the web, catching up on the latest shows on Netflix or AppleTV. Perfect for taking a couple notes, and easy to learn to use for first time apple user or first time laptop users.

so worth it!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.oh. my. god. i N E V E R liked apple laptops. for the longest time, i thought they were inefficient and i didnt like the operating system or the way they function (think task bar at the bottom of the screen and the way closing tabs is different. not dramatically different from a windows laptop, but im pretty set in my ways most of the time). about a month ago, after having my windows laptop for four and a half years, i began to look for a replacement. i was intrigued by the new macbook air. it was taking about twenty to thirty minutes for it to boot up and just open google chrome. not even to do anything, just to open my browser. ridiculous. a week ago, i was working on my application to go back to school, and i couldnt get the laptop's screen to work. it was all black and kept flashing my home screen. it was so annoying. so i text my mum and tell her that my laptop is gone, i need to look into getting a new one. she met me at bestbuy and the next thing i know, im walking out with the amazing macbook air im typing this review on. the mac os chip that runs the computer works as well as a higher end intel i5, and it is fast. the fingerprint reader is so easy, and i love not having to type in a password every time i open up the screen. the keyboard has taken some adjusting, but im getting used to it now. i downloaded google chrome so i could keep all my presaved tabs and passwords, and bought a really cute opal clip on case, and bam! the computer is personalized to me, and i couldnt love it more. i was able to submit my college application, start working on my next book, and text my mum all at the same time :)

Speedy little thing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is awesome. Battery is amazing, and it's just blazing fast overall. I have a power hungry M15 Alienware that I use for work. I love it, but this M1 is better in everything I use it for beside gaming, which I don't do much of, but is to be expected. I've basically cast it aside and only do tasks that require me to be on a Windows only program. Even then, someday when I feel like making a bunch of licensing changes with my work software, I may add a Windows Virtual Machine, see how my program runs and switch over 100%.

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WORKS VERY WELL I love my Macbook. I’ve had numerous Windows PCs and laptops, I’ve also been a heavy Linux laptop and PC user, and I use Linux+Unix professionally at work all day long, as well as using Windows in my job. I’ve been a programmer for > 30 years, so lots of exposure to computers. The aesthetic of the Mac is just different — more polished and smooth, it has a unity of design that crosses over between software and hardware and appearance — the way that things are worked out with fine attention to detail so that the device doesn’t get in your way, but allows you to blend with the work… it’s difficult to break that down into individual lists of features. Any of these 3 operating systems can be laid down on high-quality hardware and will get most of the same jobs done. But the Macbook is like driving a well-polished sports car, while anything that isn’t a Mac shows its rivets and screwheads to the driver. Not bad, and you can get by like that for years without missing anything, but when you make friends with the Mac you just don’t want to go back.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this just because I needed a newer laptop & im so happy with it. Probably the most expensive thing I’ve ever purchased for myself but well worth it. Super fast, love the finger print option to unlock It, makes things so much easier & also love the color gold!! It looks more like a rose gold in person which I love even more! There’s so many features on here & I just know this laptop will last me years which is really nice!

Best laptop at $1000! Even more worth it for $810
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The M1 chip made this MacBook Air really powerful, it’s the best laptop at this price point. I got an open box excellent excellent certified condition for $810. It was basically brand new with no signs of use, besides the packaging being opened. There was only 2 charge cycles , which proves it wasn’t really used that much. It’s worth a try to buy open box, since you can always return it if it’s not up to your standards.
