This MacBook Air is everything I wanted. I switched from an HP laptop, and I can’t believe the difference! The speed and the ease of use are terrific. My needs are simple- the ability to use Word and Excel and to surf the net. The M1 chip gives me that and more. My experience with Best Buy and the Geek Squad was also top notch.

This laptop is a great all-rounder that can handle everyday tasks with ease and also do some light video and photo editing from drone footage. The battery life is excellent, lasting multiple days on a single charge with moderate usage. I'm confident that this laptop will be able to meet my needs for both work and play.

Even though it’s 2024, I decided to buy this 2020 m1 version anyways. I’m going to be editing light videos. I think the only thing I’ll need is an external hard drive. It works so great. Also, the gold MacBook looks like a rose gold which is amazing.

This is my first Mac and I have absolutely loved it from day one. It is perfect for my small business needs. I love that is lightweight. Being able to access everything from my iCloud means that I can work with my iPhone, Macbook, or iPad without any issues.

I was in the market for a laptop when i went back to school and was using my sister's 2012 macbook air. I liked the size and portability while still being easy to use for my slightly bigger than normal hands. I was between the macbook air m1 and m2 (apple processor). I decided on the m1 macbook air since i didnt like the design of the m2 (the notch, and flatness to the chassis). I also liked that it took the same charger as everything else i have now (usb type c). I got the absolute base model and have overall been happy with it, my only issue woth it has probably been my own fault. That issue is with google chrome and the laptop somtimes slowing down where it gives me the loading image of the cursor. I have sometimes noticed it on some other applications however i attribute it to not turning off the laptop as often as i should and having to many windows/ applications open. The keyboard is one of if not the best out there and the speakers are second to none in the class. Overall 5/5 stars for years to come of use.

This was a open box item in excellent condition but had to return it because there were wash outs around the black boarders and spots on the screen which all disappear when its on to display the best laptop ive ever owned..See for yourself just make sure to check carefully if buying refurbished/open box.But all in all you should love the value for what you get and the ease of use..Also you will be tripped up at first because it seems mac does every( action/gestures) opposite of the PC

Super Fast! My previous laptop was a MacBook pro-2016, this MacBook air blows it out of the water and with no fan! Highly Recommend!

If your on the edge for purchasing this laptop. Go for it I say this as a person that was strictly against it for the cost. This computer outdoes all of the other computers. It is fast! It does all things college related, as well as crafty. Light weight and small enough to take almost anywhere.

Apple's M1 chips are blazing fast, no need to even upgrade to their M2 or M3 just yet. Works great for my developer workflow and got up and running in minutes.

I have had this model since January 2021 and have nothing but good things to say about it! I was initially apprehensive about purchasing due to the price tag, but I had heard so many people speak highly of it, so I took the chance and was pleasantly surprised! I bought it with the purpose of using it for school, so I knew it would be used heavily, and I had concerns about getting a laptop that would actually last me, at least, the duration of my program. In the past, generally, laptops have lasted me MAYBE 2 years maximum, so I am pleased to say it is now January 2024, and it works like a charm even with heavy daily use (writing papers/assignments, taking notes, participating in online classes, downloading and reading textbooks, recording presentations, as well as personal use). I completed my ADN, nursing residency, and almost the entirety of my BSN program thus far with this computer; it's my ride-or-die at this point!

Updating from a MacBook Pro 2009, this MacBook Air was just what I wanted and more. The apple silicon is blazing fast. Battery life with the apple silicon is also amazing. I do a lot work on my laptop, but I don't use very demanding apps so I stuck with the base 8gb ram and 256gb ssd.

No regrets! Super fast, thin, easy to carry, long battery lifetime.

Very pleased having been a pic guy my whole life and finally making the switch. The M1 is lightning fast and the 13+” computer makes it easy to stow anywhere. I enjoy the fact that Apple has switched to the c type usb chargers as they have with this computer (props to LG but at least Apple had good sense to follow suit!)
