Only downside is the fact that the default storage options are so limiting unless you utilize cloud storage systems. The battery life is great, but less than MacBook Pro, so you have to pick your battles. But for $750 with the student discount, the value is incredible!

This MacBook is very impressive. It never heats up what so ever. It can even do hardcore gaming for a long time and it will never heat up. It is also blazing fast. Worth the upgrade if you have an intel macbook. The battery life is also amazing. It can last almost 3 days without charging it.

Love it!

I truly love this thing - lightweight, very fast, and stays cool even though it's fan-less. I use this mostly for writing, listening to music, and browsing, although I've had great luck playing some games on it as well (though I haven't tried anything too intense).

Super Pleased with Laptop Selection

Got this new laptop for grad school and I am super please with my choice thus far. If there was any complaint, it would be some finickiness with hooking up an external monitor. My guess would be things would be playing nicer if I got an Apple USB C adapter. Alas ... still love this laptop!

Best laptop ever

This is my first time switching to Mac OS and I’m impressed. Mac OS could use some improvements that windows has had for years though. Also the performance on this laptop is amazing. You can actually game on this thing and get the same FPS as some “Gaming” laptops. The new M1 chip is amazing and the battery life is also amazing.

Best All-Around Laptop

The display is sharp, the keyboard is a pleasure to type on, opening apps and browsing the web is fast, and has the longest battery life I’ve ever experienced on any MacBook, or Apple product for that matter. Was able to get this specific model as an open-box purchase and couldn’t be happier with my decision!

Our kids got one each and they are very happy with them. They use the laptop for school and for personal use. endless software titles available. Very fast and powerful with a beautiful display. overall a great price and very satisfied.
