Bought this is a gift for my wife, she loves it. Very lightweight and smooth. Fast running with M1 chip, and with it being on sale and doing some research, I didn't feel the need to spend extra on the M2 chip version. This is definitely good value.

Love This, its my first Apple laptop, have had it i think about 2 years and it still works fantastic, its light, does what i need and the battery still lasts a long time. Made me a believer of apple computers. the only thing is i wish the camera was better, its i think 720p , works great but my iphone from the same time has a better picture than this.

Bought this for my daughter as she heads to college. It replaces a Mac Air bought in 2017 that began to randomly shut down. Still, I think 5 years is pretty good for any laptop! She says it runs faster and she loves the color, which is listed as gold but is really rose gold.

I bought this for my granddaughter who is in her first year of middle school and she has all honors classes. Now with all classes being online this laptop has come in very handy helping her follow her classes and getting her homework done on time. She totally understands how to operate it and it does everything that she needs for her advanced classes.

Bought this for my daughter, after the previous windows laptop began hanging up frequently. She loves the speed of the macbook - could be due to the M1 chip - which helps improve her productivity. Overall, very satisfied so far.

We love Apple products. Purchased for my daughter who is a rising freshman in college. We used the Student Deals which made the price affordable and she received a free pair of 1st generation airpods with the purchase. She uses it for FaceTime more than anything. Battery life is pretty long and the gold color is beautiful.

As an “entry level Mac”, it’s incredible. I love that there is no fan, so having it sit on my lap for hours athletics I’m working is no big deal. It’s fast, the OS is great, and having all of my pictures and information sync between devices is fantastic. I will definitely be buying another one soon for my wife.

Got this for my daughter who started college. She absolutely loved it. The battery lasts forever and she can have tens of tabs open without any hiccups. I have pushed this computer and its new Apple-made processor to its limits and found that those limits exceeded my expectations on nearly every level. I’ve also used it in the way a MacBook Air is really meant to be used: as an everyday computer for workaday tasks. When doing so, I clocked eight and sometimes 10 hours of continuous use on battery. Coming into this review, I had a catalog of potential pitfalls that Apple could have fallen into when switching from an Intel chip to its own processor. Chip transitions are devilishly hard and don’t usually go smoothly. This MacBook Air not only avoids almost all of those pitfalls, but it gleefully leaps over them.
