The M1 Chip sets this computer apart from even other Macs. This computer is faster than anything I have ever used- and extremely intuitive. The touch bar is phenomenal.

I'm new to Mac. Been a lifelong Windows user. I heard such positive stuff about the new M1 Macs, so I gave it a shot. I've been blown away! Waaaaay better than I even was hearing, this has insane power and speed. The 8GB of RAM feels like 16GB. While 256GB of storage is very small, I have Samsung T7 SSD drives for more storage and backups, and it's worth it. And the Thunderbolt ports are blazing fast. All around one beast of a Mac, and worth every penny. (Yes, picture is my own. Edited on this Mac using Luminar AI.)

I absolutely love my MacBook since the first day I got It and that was in 2022! It still works like brand new and very easy and efficient to use! I literally use it everyday for everything lol

Best purchases I ever made. I just wish Apple would figure out a way for me to separate my storage for iCloud and it’d be perfect! I’ve created some of my best designs on it!

This machine is fast ,a lot of apps I am weary about downloading at the moment but apple developers are working fast to make sure most apps work PERFECT with the M1 chip and Big Sur I am very careful with my stuff and Life and I am not let down with this purchase AND MOST OF ALL it has SBN NOW of which I binge watch on my ty but it looks even better on this Mac

This was a great purchase for our oldest as college freshman 2 years ago! Looking to make a similar purchase for our youngest who will now be a college freshman.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing. Wow Apple really did it again. I upgraded my current 2013 MacBook Air to this 2020 MacBook Pro and I love the new upgrade. If you’re looking for a new laptop and for a decent gaming laptop, now with the M1 chip this thing outweighs a lot of high end gaming laptops, however I do have to say steam is updating their games to this model as soon as they can!

I use my Mac every single day for work and it’s always flawless. The battery last forever and charges quite quickly, even with all my extra games!

Love this Mac. It replaced a 10 year old Mac desktop. Definitely an upgrade to what I had before and connected to my other Apple gadgets seamlessly.

I have been researching Apple’s new M1 chip and read nothing but outstanding reviews. I love my new MacBook Pro, it is faster than the Mac Air and the battery charge last a considerable amount longer. The only drawback is it has only two USB-C connections, which are absolutely too close to each other. In fact, you cannot plug in two peripherals because of inadequate spacing. I reverted to using a multi-peripheral with a dongle. Come on Apple, you can do better!

Great for my college experience. Had it for over a year now and it’s as good as new. it is a bit heavy but understandably so.

So far this is my first MacBook Experience and it’s been great so far! The power of the M1 chip is unreal, I’ve even played borderlands 2 on it!

I've been using it for a while now, I got it because I had a summer job and my old computer wasn't going to hold up. Lets start off with optimized for M1 The apps optimized for the M1 chip are amazing. They open in less than 3 seconds, usually 1-2 and sip battery life. The ones that aren't still open quick enough, 5-10 seconds, but they take battery at a faster rate (to be honest they run as though it's a normal laptop which is a good thing I guess). In app you really wont miss out on much unless you're doing heavy work. Battery life is as good as everyone says. I can get 2 days of moderately heavy usage (pretty much using it the entire day), and if I'm using it averagely it'll last 3 days before you need to charge. Most people will get a week of usage if you charge it just once in the middle of the week. Needless to say it's great. Keyboard is good too, touch bar itself is meh but if you use 3rd party apps to customize it yourself (I use MTMR) it's super good. I think that's where apple messed up, the software on their end is too restrictive and for no good reason. Screen is great, no complaints. Decent brightness too. Weight is average, not heavy. Heat is never an issue. On anything thats not a game I struggle to get it beyond 120 while using it normally, heat will spike a bit when you open non-optimized apps but cools down quickly. Fans almost never have to kick in on their own and even then, its low enough to where you'd have to strain you ears and put them right ontop of the keyboard to hear. Most apps now at the least have been rosetta optimized (not running natively) and some m1 optimized. Totally worth it.

Fast and great display. Size is quite good for travelling and working in coffee shops. Worked great for presentations too.
