Bought my computer 2 years ago, and so far no issues, charge holds for days which I love.

Bought it for school. Was using my very old macbook air beforehand. I use it for school so it helps me with taking exams, studying for hours, meetings, coding, and my research.

Best MacBook I've ever had i just wish i would have opted for the 16 gb of ram. the M1 chip works great and everything works with it surprisingly even though it's a new chip. touch bar is nice i like it but don't use it as often as i thought i would.

Love my new M-1 MacBook Pro! After faithful service of 8 years my old MacBook finally died. I decided to replace it with the new 13" Apple MacBook Pro with the new M-1 chip. Boy is it astoundingly FAST!!! I was blown away with how fast it is. It can handle spreadsheet data much quicker saving me about 1/2 the time the older machine used to take. The screen resolution is much better and the colors are brighter. I love the convenience of Touch ID and even the Touch Bar itself, especially when I want to silence sound. One touch & silence. Another touch sound on. It's convenient. I like the stereo sound and the new keyboard...big improvement! There is so much to like with this new Mac! I'm still exploring, learning and enjoying. I also purchased a Hyper Drive. I like this too. One stick, one "gizmo" that allows all my "stuff" to work on my new Mac.

Have had several MacBook Pros. Really like the speed and Touch Bar which is a cool improvement. The new size is great. Comparable in size to MacBook Air but a lot more powerful. If you can get a deal or open box I would recommend the pro over the Air.

Currently on my third year of college and I have had this MacBook since my freshman year and it has not slown down! Works just as it did the first day that I got it. Amazing build quality and overall amazing product.

Had to replace my old 2017 MacBook Air. Since it was on sale I decided to buy it, and let me tel you best decision on upgrading to a pro. Screen is amazing, it’s fast and not so heavy. And sleek design.

Sleek, clean, and fast. Previous MacBook iterations that I’ve owned failed to compete with similarly priced windows laptops. With a battery that lasts me all day and enough umph to get any protect done I highly recommend the new m1 MacBook Pro.

It’s been stellar and the M1 chip is plenty fast and smooth for my usage which does include a fair amount of video editing. Keyboard is great to type on and the keys have a little grip to them which I like.

Ive owend several renditins of the MBP, but im loving the compact design and the new M1 chip. Theres so much more theyll be able to do. weve had no issues running any of our programs, or doing light gaming.

The new MacBook Pro is much nicer and the M1 chip is very fast. The touch bar is a very cool feature and it is cool you can see so many emoji options. The battery life is very nice and can last more than a day when using it constantly without a need to charge.

This laptop is absolutely wonderful for a normal user. For those of you who aren't normal users, you know who you are..Do your own research on program compatibility and etc. Purchasing this laptop is the bleeding edge of technology (the new Apple Silicon M1) and that usually has some hiccups. For a normal user that browses websites, prints, and is using the Apple App Store, you'll have no issues at all. I was skeptical of how stable this would be utilizing the new M1 chip but I've been thoroughly impressed. I've had several MacBook Pros over the years and this is by far my favorite. I've never had a laptop with such a long battery life. The biggest con, and it's not insignificant, is none of my Steam games built for MacOS will run on this laptop. Literally none. Hopefully it's just a matter of time, or maybe this is the mark of the end of MacOS gaming outside the App Store.

I love this. The new MacBook Pro is SO much faster and smoother than my old MacBook Air. The touch bar still seems a bit excessive but it’s quite cool once you get comfortable with it. The battery, with nonstop use, lasts about 16 hours. Wild.

I am a media student and I bought mine for editing. The speed is amazing no matter if I’m editing animation or just a short video I never have problems with lagging or my laptop overheating. Overall the pro is your way to go for editing!

incredible speed and sustainable battery….all around great laptop

I loved my purchase experience in the store. The price was lower than the student discount that Apple offers and the experience with the sales associates was much better than the associates at the Apple store. I was able to purchase the laptop of my choice with a generous return policy without any hassle. My Macbook ended up costing less than the Alienware laptop I had. Its been about 3 months since I purchased the laptop and I have no complaints. The battery life is amazing, I am able to use several apps at once. I am in CS so my code also runs quickly without freezing my laptop. I read several complaints about the touchpad, I have not had a single problem with the touch pad and it adds to the convenience of being able to answer calls and access other shortcuts without driving the mousepad.

Amazing MacBook. Best laptop ever with 20 hours battery life and cool running for a true laptop without cords or mouse. Needs external doc for USB 2 and hdmi to monitor. Be careful to set laptop password (more like your phone unlock code which cannot be reset if forgotten or lost. Each start required “password” which is NOT Apple ID nor iTunes password. Even fingerprint setup doesn’t work on a new start without code. Code can be six digits like iPhone. Other than that, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD are more than enough. Pro is worth the money at $200 off at BestBuy. It adds cooling fan, Touch Bar and finger print ID. Finally happy to be back to Mac. I bought the first Mac in 1984. Windows is endangered due to lack of security against ransom and other attacks. MS office works on this M1 MacBook.

Got this macbook m1 for my son during the holidays. Not only is this thing fast, but the battery life is amazing! It's definitely the best laptop from a mobility standpoint that I've seen. Can't wait until they come out with the 16" versions....

Absolutely loved this Mac. It’s compact, light weight, user friendly. It’s perfect for any use you need it for.

First time user for Mac and it took a little to get used to but the finger print unlock was awesome. Never had a better laptop experience with available apps like typing lessons or learning a new language made easy.
