I've been using it for a while now, I got it because I had a summer job and my old computer wasn't going to hold up. Lets start off with optimized for M1 The apps optimized for the M1 chip are amazing. They open in less than 3 seconds, usually 1-2 and sip battery life. The ones that aren't still open quick enough, 5-10 seconds, but they take battery at a faster rate (to be honest they run as though it's a normal laptop which is a good thing I guess). In app you really wont miss out on much unless you're doing heavy work. Battery life is as good as everyone says. I can get 2 days of moderately heavy usage (pretty much using it the entire day), and if I'm using it averagely it'll last 3 days before you need to charge. Most people will get a week of usage if you charge it just once in the middle of the week. Needless to say it's great. Keyboard is good too, touch bar itself is meh but if you use 3rd party apps to customize it yourself (I use MTMR) it's super good. I think that's where apple messed up, the software on their end is too restrictive and for no good reason. Screen is great, no complaints. Decent brightness too. Weight is average, not heavy. Heat is never an issue. On anything thats not a game I struggle to get it beyond 120 while using it normally, heat will spike a bit when you open non-optimized apps but cools down quickly. Fans almost never have to kick in on their own and even then, its low enough to where you'd have to strain you ears and put them right ontop of the keyboard to hear. Most apps now at the least have been rosetta optimized (not running natively) and some m1 optimized. Totally worth it.

This laptop honestly is very convenient I use it for school and it's very simple and innovative. I think that's what makes this laptop so good everything runs so smooth its definitely worth having. I'm glad I made this purchase because it was very much needed and this laptop surpassed my expectations. I absolutely love the new details they've made for this laptop especially the touchbar its very amazing very easy to use.

Man, what I can say about the new MacBook Pro with the M1 chip, other than it’s just incredible!! So fast and reliable! I use a music recording software called Cubase, which can be a resource hog, and the MacBook doesn’t bat an eye at it. Just amazing!! Easily my “best” Best Buy purchase ever!!

I am loving my new MacBook Pro. I bought this to replace my very old 2004 PowerBook. My old Mac still works but it replies power supply. It can no longer hold power on its own. Buying a new battery will cost me so much, besides its time for a major upgrade. Having this MacBook made my work easier. I am able to work on Maya for my 3d designs a lot faster. Though I wish I bought 512GB, maybe next time.

I have the 2019 version of the MacBook Pro 13inch and the 2020 version this version, you can tell and notice the difference between the intel core i5(2019 edition) and the Apple M1 chip- the M1 is faster and has a quicker response time, as well as the battery has a longer run time. It’s a great product I would recommend to anyone.

I was a longtime windows user. My old windows 10 laptop was a refurbished one and didn’t hold a charge. It was also super slow. A major pain. I tried using my son’s old late 2011 MacBook Pro. That too was super slow and didn’t hold a charge. I needed a new laptop for school. This is my first Mac. The best laptop I’ve ever owned. I would recommend this to anyone. I can see this one lasting for 10 years or more. The Touch Bar is very useful. I can’t go back to using a laptop without it. Best investment you can make.

Love this computer. Upgraded from a 2020 MacBook Air i3 Touch ID 256gb SSD. My MacBook Air was good but this MacBook pro is great. The battery life is amazing. It’s fast and powerful. No complaints. 10/10 highly recommend
