No brained, get a MacBook Pro

The battery life is insane and you really gotta go out of your way to somehow land a virus on this thing. My last MacBook Pro lasted over 10 years. I had so much confidence in its quality that I gifted it to my son and went ahead bought myself the new one!!! Haha

I stopped purchasing laptops because most felt underpowered when not plugged into the wall and of course the battery life was terrible. I get at least 20 hours with this and the fan has only kicked on a hand full of times when I'm playing very demanding games. I've actually been using my laptop more than my iPhone.

I have been using it for photo and video editing and it has not disappointed me at all. it insanely fast and the resolution on the screen is top notch. I am so glad I waited to get a new macbook when the new M1 chip came out

came back because my 2012 lasted forever

It lasted me up till late last year, so almost 10 years. I figured it would be a good option because my last one lasted so long and it syncs across all my devices. quick processor, the touch bar is cool but definitely not necessary.
