The M1 chip is nothing to sneeze at, even in late 2022. The quality is what you would expect from Apple. Usage: I will use this for light software development and my partner is using it for school. The battery is insane and unlike windows laptops, the sleep function doesn't drain your battery My takeaway: If you don't need the lastest and greatest and can get this on sale. I would say do it! Screen: Beautifully bright and the coloros look almost identifical to my color corrected monitor with the only noticable color difference be some of the blacks Keyboard: Probably the only place where I am going to complain a bit, its better than the butterfly keyboard of older models, but it is still behind the likes of lenovo think pads.

My new MacBook works perfectly! 14" is just the right size and the M1 Pro is plenty fast for 99% of workloads! I'm glad I got the higher tiered model as the extra cores and double storage is amazing and really helps when running Windows on Parallels.

It works really well and the battery life is good.

All around workhorse, apple got everything right with this new generation of apple silicon computers.

It’s a fast computer with a very long battery life. I think the 8/14 model is a better value but the 1tb storage is very nice. The display has a fantastic range of color however I find it collecting a lot of dust from the keyboard. The build quality is very solid, easily the nicest laptop I’ve ever owned. If you want to run windows on the computer the best option is paralleling, Boot camp is not available and there’s a lot of doubt that it ever will be.

This is my first Macbook and Iove it, I purchased to do music production and I have no complaints at all, The M1 Chip Pro let me connect Two Monitors.

The first one I bought didn’t turn on had too go back and get a new one, it’s ok just thought it be a good idea too mention it, now too the important details, this computer is NOT for PRO’s this is for everyday YouTubers or people who record in 1080p at max, if your somewhat a medium level video editor like me who uses a fancy cannon r6 eos you will need to know that camera uses a special codec that is h.265 raw either 4K or fhd, this laptop will play back the video ok but once you start adding effects and using temporal denoiser for example I use davinci resolve 17, well it will start too struggle when it comes too color grading and it will suffer in the fusion tab as well, this is not enough ram!!! You need at least 60 of ram, I should of known better I thought this M1 chip would solve my playback and editing work flow but no it’s actually not powerful enough, the solutions to this isssue is simple though so get the model with the most ram you can the least you should get is 30gb ram but trust me the more the better, also I do not know how this laptops work but you will also need a lot of VRAM meaning the graphics card inside the laptop needs to be powerful enough too run 4K raw files, this laptop by the look of it runs only on a cpu??? I’m guessing?, nobody tells you this when your starting out and I wish somebody would of taught me this, in conclusion of you have a fancy camera that shoots raw h.265 codec this BASE MODEL will NOT WORk, ok hopefully this helps some one that is starting out in the world of 4K video editing!! Oh and I ended up returning it.

In all honesty, for what it cost, not worth it. Could’ve bought a different laptop and not had to deal with buying add ons since this laptop doesn’t automatically come with basic laptops things like a usb port. So many things I don’t like about this laptop, it’s basically an x-large iPhone. It’s very nice looking and runs smooth though.

Amazingly Fast with amazing color screen. Also, I love the keyboard, smooth and quiet. Fingerprint unlocking feature is awesome and all my apps are opening and running extremly fast and efficiently. I love this MacBook Pro!

I am loving my MacBook Pro size works well for me and my needs (photo editing and personal) Wish I had more time to 'play' with it as it is slightly different than my dell. Very happy with the purchase and speed it processes with.

Powerful, quiet, long battery life. Upgrading from a 2016 MacBook Pro to this 14” M1 MacBook Pro is a game changer! This beast cans handle any workload you throw at it all while barely breaking a sweat.

What should have been 2 day delivery ended up to be more than a week. Other than that the deal was a good one.

I bought this for multitasking purposes so far so good on the issue that I experience is the lack of USB 3.0 connections not everything is USB-C leaving me to buy hideous dongle’s sticking out the side of my beautiful MacBook. Apple sure knows how to not think of the necessary connection types for these types of multitask Computers . Also the screen hinge is not as tight as my early 2015 macbook, its always tilts on its own when I move my macbook from workstation to workstation, irritating maybe I should stop multitasking with my teams and stay put in one workstation, hahaha not gonna happen!

Replaced my much older MacBook Air with this. Really glad I did. Though I loved the Air, this is much faster with a much better looking screen and runs multiple applications without a hitch!

We used the MacBook Pro 14" laptop with the M1 Pro chip to replace a 2012 MacBook Pro. It is lightning fast, the screen is incredibly bright and it's very light. Glad we went with the space gray!

No power cable provided (150 dollars) for my open-box used one, and Bestbuy didn't say that on the website. Besides the sticker label is so stupid ugly and so difficult to remove it!

This one hv the screen a little bigger than my old one, really make a difference, is faster, just don't like the way it charge is just like the old one. The good things,it hv many more usb plugs.
