I was pretty excited when I watched the keynote but doubted that it would live up to the hype... I was wrong. First off, the build quality is fantastic, feels real solid and I like the thicker build. The new screen is beautiful and you don't even notice the notch. The new M1 pros are powerhouses that just smashed everything I threw at it without missing a beat. I use it with dual monitors, one 4k 60hz and one 1440p 164hz and it has no problem driving them watching videos on one screen, working on another with 100 tabs open. Adobe apps are all super snappy. The keyboard is very comfortable and responsive and THANK GOD the touchbar is gone and finally get back our f keys. Battery life is beyond expectations. Doesn't get hot in my lap if I take it to the couch to do some work at night like my 15" did. Do I need the HDMI 2.0? No... 2.1 would have been better. Do I wish maybe it was another thunderbolt, absolutely. Will I ever use the SD card slot, nope. If you are a Mac user and need the power, get it, you wont be disappointed at all.

MacBook Pro It’s a steep price to pay, but totally worth it. Would not trade it for a MacBook Air.

Unbelievable machine for the price. Perfect size, perfect hard drive size, fantastic keyboard along with onboard HDMI 1.4 and MagSafe.

1st generation of Apple silicon. Light Microsoft office use. Barely made it to sophmore year for college student before the infamous horizontal black bar appears on the display to ruin it. $580 independent repair. God knows how much the genius bar would've costed. Not worth the $2300 retail price but what choice do you have if you're entrenched in the Apple ecosystem?

Love the M1 chip. The computer works great in my line of work as a DJ.

I have been holding off for some time on getting a new MacBook pro. when the first M1 version came out, I was very interested, but decided to wait a little more. Then came the M1 Pro. I have been very impressed with the speed of this MacBook Pro. Things that took a long time on my prior MBP happen so quickly. I use Final Cut Pro and the rendering speed on this machine blows away my prior MBP. I highly recommend it.

Very good Item I would rate it 4 stars but only because it doesn't run a lot of stuff I used to be able to on my other laptop.
