She was uncomfortable with the operating system and had a difficult time navigating the Mac. We returned the product and purchased a windows based system

Device excellent, Best Buy staff even better.

What was appreciated more was the quality of the staff at Best Buy in considering which model and options would meet my needs, and then helping select the correct device. It was as good or better than experiences at Apple’s own stores so often overcrowded with people and insufficient staff.

The sales guy was very pushy and did not show me other laptops. He claims that there not on display due to theft. Well, that's not my concern. Show me several laptops to choose from. BB employee not a keeper.

If slow is okay this will work

It’s slow when loading large files or installing programs. According to Apple this should be quicker than my old 15” MacBook Pro with an i7 processor, but it takes almost twice as long. What’s worse is they just released the M2 version for $100 less than I paid for this one. To be fair the M2 version for $1999 only has a 512gb hard drive.
