Brand new and sealed packaged. The warranty started when you start up the computer.

Charger and power Cable is missing, It was a open box item with no missing parts mentioned on the box. No solution even after talking to Store associates and customer care. They are not able to reduce the price and not giving another charge/cable.

nice upgrade from my 3 years old 13.3" macbook pro. A little bit heavier and bulkier than the previous one though.

Spend 2600$ on a computer for it to last 8 months. 8 months old and it just crashed, hoping there is some sort of manufacturer's warranty on device.

The sales persons were great! However, I don't see my receipt on my account; I opted for digital receipt & one says order canceled and no receipt for this one; which is very concerning for me.

Bought a refurbished one and it broke literally two days after the warranty went out. I stuck with a $2000 laptop that is non-functioning. Thank you, Best Buy.

While you can find a more cost-efficient blend of cost to power outside of the Apple space, for those that "like what they like", this is a decent system.

The reason for the purchase was to use Garage Band for music production, but it wouldn't work with what we were using.

To be honest, its fast but not what was expecting.

I used to love my Apple laptop but this new one without a USB port is willfully stupid. If I had paid better attention I would not have made this purchase. I am so disappointed! $2,500 worth of frustration. APPLE DO BETTER!

Please note....my rating for the Macbook is probably 4 or 5 stars. No problems. The ONE star is for Best Buy. Turns out the Rewards program doesn't reward you for Apple products. Buyer beware!!! If you can purchase this elsewhere for same price, you might as well. No distinct advantage to buy through Best Buy. In fact, it may cost you more if you have to pick item up when you could have it delivered for free from somewhere else. The loyalty program doesn't reward you for loyalty. However, it turns out you can get points if you use their credit card.

The good news is that setting up the OS with Time Machine worked smoothly (compared with my last attempt with the earlier model). The bad news is that the OS itself is flawed in any number of annoying ways. Particularly problematic is the the HDMI connection no longer supplies audio to my television monitor. Then there are the flaws in trying to save a Text Edit file with the txt extension. Another major annoyance is the the OS breaks its connection to my television when I switch to another HDMI input. In other words, some of my most heavily used features seem to have been flushed away.

Thunderbolt docks brick M1 laptops. This has apparently been an issue since the 2020 Macbook Air. Sure it was a great machine all 6 hours that I got to use it. When I went to remove my Dell WD19TB dock from it (an Apple certified dock if you look it up), it bricked. Completely shut down, never to turn on again. Apple support told me to exchange it with Best Buy instead of actually trying to fix it. I think I will go for a refund. I certainly didn't expect a nearly $3K laptop to be this fragile.
