I purchased an open box M1 Pro 14” MacBook about 2 years ago as my first Mac product. It was a good price at the time but still not cheap. Overall I have to say, a very impressive piece of engineering!!! Very powerful yet very compact, efficient and quiet. I use it as a general purpose computer and for editing my photos. It competes very well with my desktop computer in terms of performance but sips in terms of power. It has 16Gb of RAM and 1 Tb storage. The only time I have run into any memory issues is when trying to use the enhance function in Lightroom with a large panoramic photo that was stitched from several photos. Now the only thing I am lamenting is that it’s not an M4 Pro! :)

I don’t think I can say anything negative about this device. Being my first Mac coming from a lifetime of pc use and chrome os, I have to say I was pleasantly blown away by this contraption. Takes care of all my needs, plus my kids graphic design programs without ever feeling sluggish or bogged down. I purchased this when it was on sale and am very happy after about a year of use. Great piece of tech, doesn’t have a heavy feel, solid construction, ease of portability compared to some of my windows laptops. Overall worth the investment

Got this laptop as an open-box for a great price and it arrived in good condition with all its accessories. Good experience there. The laptop itself is wonderful for development (browser, IDEs, and Spotify). The battery, unlike on many Windows laptops, can actually last all day on a single charge. It's also extremely quiet while not getting uncomfortably warm. The speakers sound good and can get very loud. The notch is a bit annoying to look at but the extra space for fullscreen makes up for it. A USB Type A port would've been nice to include, but overall, an amazing machine to use.

Best decision ever. Back in the day, I thought it was all about the larger screens but my goodness those laptops weighed so much... there was absolutely no portability. This laptop is lightweight and super powerful. The graphics and colors are so vivid on this laptop, even the SOUND is great quality - and there's no lag time with literally anything. I researched for hours upon hours before deciding on this one and I definitely feel like I made the best choice.

Such an upgrade from my iMac 2016 obvi. Wicked fast and smaht. Sexy, and light. Handles my editing needs amazingly!

Replaced a 2009 MacBook with this and have had no complaints. Battery life is incredible, screen size isn't too small, everything has been smooth. Perfectly good computer.

This is a workhorse! This replaced my MacBook Pro 15 and wow, it’s night and day comparison between the two. First, the battery life is impressive. I was using this during conference week and those days can last 12 hours and this lasted the whole time. As a developer, day to day operations and video editing, this doesn’t even sweat and I rarely hear the fan. I had originally wanted the 16 inch version but I needed the portability and with 1TB storage, same price as a 16 but half the storage. This was perfect for what I need.

Finally, after over 11-years I've come back to a MacBook Pro once again. My last MacBook Pro was purchased in 2011, mainly purchased for school... but then sold it after 4-years since I had no use for it. At the time I really liked the machine, but overheating and battery was just horrible and mainly because I had Parallels installed with Windows 7 virtual machine, along with 4x other virtual machines. I made minor upgrades to the memory and installed an SSD (during a time when MacBooks were still upgradable), but still it was not efficient to use as I mainly used Windows for work purposes. I have been using a Surface Pro Tablet PC portable machine for the past 7-years. Ive always liked Microsoft Surface PC's, but the screen size has always been too small for my taste and I really never used the touchscreen at all. Fast forward to 2022 and now I still work mainly with Windows for work purposes, but now I have a side business too and decide that I need a powerful machine that can handle all my needs (My work and side business with out sacrificing battery time and speed). This MacBook is insane monster when handling multitasking. The machine works at its peak even when just on battery, something I don't think my Surface Pro could ever handle. The screen is just so beautiful almost OLED type of level colors/brightness, even though its just a 14.2" Mini LED screen. Trust me, I've owned two OLED TVs since 2016, currently have a Sony Bravia XR 65" A80J, so anything less would not satisfy me. I don't think I could ever go back to another Intel machine i5/i7 Laptop or Desktop PC, its like going back to legacy hardware from 2010. I mean, even the MacBook Air M1 2020 model is a beast compared to most intel laptops/PCs, and that's a two year old MacBook product. Apple removed the stupid Touch-bar, added better speakers, brought back useful HDMI/SD card ports, and finally brought back MagSafe connection port. In two short years, Apple has changed the game and I really hope Windows learns for this and steps up their game.

I've only owned Windows computers since I was younger, but I've always wanted a Mac. I saved up and finally got the MacBook Pro I've been wanting, and it was well worth the wait. Although I cannot compare this MacBook to other ones in the past, I have to say that I absolutely love it. It's lightweight, but made very well. The screen is amazing, and everything runs super smooth. Also, the battery life is INSANE!!! If you're in the market for a new laptop I do highly recommend this MacBook Pro.

The best value available today when on sale. I wanted to get a M1 14" before they became unavailable as newer models roll out. The M1 chip is superior to the older Intel chip models in regards to speed, runs cooler, and battery life. The M1 keeps up with the newer M2 chip in the tasks you typically use a laptop for. The screen is beautiful, the speakers are amazing, the fan has yet to run even while creating videos in Imovie.

This MacBook Pro gives a powerful and flawless experience. The Retina display looks beautiful too, and I love the improved keyboard, and enhanced audio speakers. The battery life is exceptional and Touch ID security is the best thing ever. The price at first was discouraging but was well worth it for this premium laptop.

Great screen and keyboard is a big improvement over previous. Got open box and was a great deal. Runs Ableton really smoothly. Never has once felt slow

I have been using this for almost a year now and still love it. Great size, tons of power and does everything I need for photo editing, videos, and more. Tons of battery life compared to Windows laptops makes it great for on the road too.
