I upgraded from Early 2015 MacBook Pro, which is still working great. I was actually waiting for M2 release and was looking for 16 GB model. After seeing initial review videos (Slow write speed for 256GB model), I decided to go for M2 16 GB RAM / 256 GB SSD. But then in 100$ extra, I was getting better screen, speakers ( they are a class apart from any previous MacBooks), so went with MacBook Pro 14" M1 Pro chip, best decision made. I plan to keep this machine for at least next 5 years.

Good picture and sound quality, better then expected. Chosen between Air M2 and Pro 14. Have no regret

This macbook pro is exponentially faster than older models. The M1 Pro chip makes all of the difference.

Great laptop! This MacBook runs adobe photoshop as well as my ryzen 7 PC with 64gb memory and 3060 RTX.

Always been a PC guy but I gotta say, these screens are beautiful. Macs are really easy to set up too.

The item is great. No complaints. Not thrilled, however, that just two days after my BestBuy return deadline, that Apple introduced the newer M2 Pro at a similar price point. Believe that when existing products are purchased this close to a new game-changing announcement, return policies should be more flexible.

I actually went to the apple store 1st to check out laptops... and naturally they had no deals there. So i went to Best Buy just to see if they might possibly have some sort of deals going on... and thank goodness i did. Not only did i get a better deal from Best Buy on my Mac Book Pro than at Apple it self, i got the better MacBook for cheaper with apple care included! Still not quite sure how that happened. But i appreciate you Best Buy!

Very sturdy. Battery life has been excellent, webcam crystal clear and great sound. Hopefully it lasts several years!

This MacBook is an absolute beast! It takes everything you can throw at it and throws t back at you fast.

This laptop has PWM <= 40% brightness. not eye friendly. Screen is also to small for me. Cause to much eye ache. For any 1 wondering. Not a great choice for m1 ported games either. Get the 16" m1 base model for more battery life and performance.

Laptop is perfect and can handle multiple editing and creative projects. Glad I went with this computer.

Received this as a gift for starting law school. Always have used apple products, and have never had any issues.
