My family is a MAC family! Best Buy has the most amazing deals and the staff was there to answer every question I had. The MAC I bought there was been the best investment.

Still waiting for my rewards points. I don't know how I didn't get them. ridiculous. With that said. This is the kind of model that you want that has the USB-C slots and also has the HDMI and SD Card slot. That is a smart move by Apple.

Love this Macbook Pro with the M1 Pro chip. Good battery life, does not produce heat. Definitely a big improvement from my old Intel based Macbook!

I recently switched from windows/android products and the last thing I needed was the MacBook. It takes some getting used to, but I definitely like it. The fan is very quiet compared to my HP (maybe because it was a few years old??) and it’s a lot faster. My only gripe is that it was difficult transferring my files over from the HP using the Migration app. It was going to take ~24 hrs to complete. I called Apple customer service and after about an hour, we ended up deciding to use “file sharing”. I think it still took about 5 hrs, but still better than 24. Overall I like it so far.

Great for programming in x-code. Very versatile and fast.

It’s everything exactly as it’s described to be. I love that it picks up where I drop off when I’m mobile and love that I can use it anywhere with my hotspot. So admittedly, I am a bit of an apple snob but it’s just cause all the secure factors that come into play. Especially with this laptop. I mean come on, finger scans?! Also the display is amazing! Bought it specifically for school but I do play on it occasionally and love the graphics especially during a video display. Also it’s thin enough to fit conveniently on any desk area without taking up so much space. Worth every penny when it comes to this pro!!

Amazing laptop. Long battery life, fast and of course portable. Use case is development. Situation will only get better as more development tools are ported to the M1 family.

The current $400 off sale on this MacBook Pro model is certainly a great deal. Given the production delays that Apple is facing, if you're waiting for the new upgraded "Mac Mini Pro" (assuming there will be one), this MacBook Pro likely gives you everything that would come in that product, along with an extra screen (or allowing you to avoid buying a monitor, if you don't already have one).

Coming from windows, there were growing pains as I was (and still am at work) a serious windows user (think using Command Prompt, PowerShell, etc), but I need a reliable at-home computer that can breeze through tasks and last longer than 4 hrs on battery - this is that computer and I’ve never been more impressed. The fan hasn’t even kicked on once since I bought it, it’s ridiculously efficient. I’m not an Apple fanboy, but they made a great and respectable product after years of putting design over engineering - now the engineers over in Cupertino have the wheel, and it shows in this great computer!

I bought this laptop for school, and I have to say - from the screen to the battery, the keyboard to the lightning fast speeds, this thing is amazing!

My personal laptop over the last 3 years was the last intel core i9 of the 16 inch MacBook Pro. It had an 8 core CPU, 32GB of RAM, 1TB of SSD storage and I really really loved that laptop because it was a beast. But when we got these new 14 inch MacBooks for work, I was impressed. I work for a Software development company and never did I hear a fan and never did this new M1 Pro processor slow down and disrupt my workflow. I traded in my 16 inch and purchased this entry level 14 inch because it runs circles around my previous Mac. I highly recommend this for any usage.

It’s a great purchase. Apple’s own cpu allows the computer to be much quicker than its ancestors and it’s a much smoother experience overall. Quick and reliable.

The M1 Pro processor is so fast, and I'm glad I waited until they went back to the older keyboard style and added the HDMI port back in. No more Touch Bar!

Great computer! The screens are second to none. As usual the build quality is spectcular, apple certainly does their homework in that aspect.
