There is no need to wait for the M2 Pro - just buy this from Bestbuy. BB beats the price on these. Great laptop - initially wanted 16 inch, but this also works fine. Display is gorgeous - you would never tell it is that good unless bring home and start using it. Don't base your judgement on floor models and 5 min interaction. Buy now and and thank me later.

This is the second one I buy. First one, I returned it after 3 days: having issues when connecting USB drives, the sd card reader was working just so so, I was getting the beach ball even opening safari (without anything else open), it was impossible to make ntfs work (without an app)… really disappointed. Bought this second one with the offers from BB and I don’t know if it is due to the OS change or what but this works like what is expected of a MacBook. Now I’m happy with it. I still think that YouTube reviews are a bit exaggerated but it works really well. Ow! Last thing (and this applies even for the first one I bought) the screen has no par in the market, well above any other

This is by far the most impressive MacBook Pro I’ve ever owned— brilliant display and absolutely incredible sound for a 14” laptop. Even with the minimum specs, it just flies through typical multitasking for mixed professional/personal use cases. Very impressive machine that is a good value when on sale. I suspect this MBP will last me a full 7-8 years, as did my last one.
