I upgraded from a 2020 MacBook Air just for the improved screen. I continue to be blown away by how nice it looks to look at. While the Air is pleasant to use, the MBP exceeds it in most ways. It is a bit heaver and the battery life is not as good, but the extra ports more than make up for it.

Upgraded from a 2016 MacBook Air. I love this laptop, screen is high quality, love the design of the actual laptop itself, battery life is really good too, but honestly the speakers on this laptop surprised me the most. Out of this world. I've had the laptop for about a month and a half and so far no complaints.

This is a wonderful laptop for video editing and photo editing. It works great for dnd, the camera looking amazing. The keyboard feels great for writing and the display is crisp.

The overall performance and speed capability of this machine beyond amazes me. The battery of this MacBook is so well optimized for heavy workloads and demanding tasks. I'll definitely own this machine for a good number of years before I even consider upgrading to a new one. 10/10 Product!

This is an excellent product. This is the third MacBook Pro that we have owned. It's speed, the feel of the keyboard, and its durability made the difference. Additionally, the outstanding customer service of Marisa, at the Springfield IL store facilitated the sale and made it a pleasant experience.

I traded in my old macbook pro for this laptop and it was the best choice of my life. The 16 gb of ram allow me to code and it doesn’t slow my comoiter down. The process is amazing, and the fact that it has more than a usbc port just makes it. The screen is really good, too!

best computer I ever had, yes I bought the base model but coming from a MacBook Pro 2017, it handles everything I need it for . runs so smoothly . planning to keep this for many years. other than that my favorite part is all the ports included with it, so good bye dongle!

Incredible piece of hardware, no issues, the speed/power is awesome. I do data analysis for work and I have yet to make this thing sweat even with large datasets/workload. The ports and keyboard are a huge upgrade on prior models

This laptop is the perfect upgrade if you have the Mac book air, you will see a huge difference in performance and speed. My Mac book air would take way longer to process when working in canva for example. I highly recommend the upgrade if you use it everyday

Literally the best laptop I have ever used. I would give it a 4.5-star rating (but Best Buy doesn't let me). The experience is incredibly polished, it's quiet, the battery life is incredible compared to any Windows laptop, and the screen is vibrant and smooth (especially with the 120hz refresh rate). The integration with my iPhone seals the deal on this one. The only gripe is that at the end of the day this is an ARM mac, and some programs just don't run or run really slow when emulating Windows despite Apple's code converting software. (Rosetta)

Very fast. Didn't show any lag yet. Can do multiple things at a time. Opens immediately. Fingerprint works just fine. Little bit heavy but not that much to carry around.

I upgraded from an i5 MacBook Pro and man let me tell you that this is such a huge upgrade. The screen resolution, the sleekness, the performance, the battery life are all such a huge upgrades and you’ll notice the difference like night/day.

OMG I LOVEEE THIS MACBOOK Great for editing and producing different kinds of things. I make music and videos for Instagram along with photo editing. I do it all here. Super fast and smooth with every program. Logic Pro, Adobe apps. AMAZING PRODUCT

The battery life has improved, I can now use it all day before the battery would need charging, and this after using it a lot longer than I did on the Mac Air. The speed has improved quite a bit. It is really noticeable as you search. Lightroom 6 loads and runs much faster, I tested it against my Mac Air that has the same amount of memory and it's just no comparison. The display loads very fast now when I'm editing my photos in Lightroom 6. No more waiting as the image just loads faster. I love the colors, they look richer to me. There is so much more that I like but it's just little things here and there. If you can try one out for a few hours I think you'll see a marked improvement and really enjoy it.

Apple laptops with the M chips are truly amazing. They blow away PC laptops in every way. Love the monitor, love the power, love the battery life and even love the speakers. The keyboard is nice to type on. It is a little heftier than the MacBook Air but solidly built. Love this thing.

A nice design with impressive performance. Actually has ports, and mag safe charging is great to have once again. Easy recommendation for anyone looking to do professional work. That said, of you're not someone who needs the extra horsepower, the Air is another great option.

Decided to switch to Mac. Although the cost is high, It serves the high performance requirements of my job with better battery life. I Would recommend it for those looking for a high-performance laptop.

This is an amazing MacBook Pro. So much better than the horrible last gen with the terrible butterfly keyboard. The screen is gorgeous, however, you cannot calibrate it with a colorimeter (I’m a photographer/videographer). It runs so cool compared to any of the old intel MacBooks. I have not yet heard the fans turn on, due to it not getting warm enough. The keyboard is way better, no more Touch Bar, and they brought back the SD card slot, HDMI port, and MagSafe. The battery lasts a very long time for me so far, and it has really great speakers. The notch is not noticeable and does not get in the way (for me, at least) as the menu bar runs along either side of it. Overall a beautiful device and very much an improvement over the last generation.

Excellent product and service! The new MacBook Pro 14 inch is a reliable machine to day by day work. Not heavy, right size, powerful process capacity and low energy consumption. I work all day in the battery.

I got this on sale which makes the price point worth it more. Overall, the battery life has been great since I’m not taxing it that much. Occasionally I use Unity, Blender, Xcode, Swift Playground, etc which drains battery a bit. Sound system is pretty good. However, sometimes there’s a weird crackling sound for a split second when I shut down a software or start up a software while the music is playing in YouTube. Not sure the cause but also not a consistent, reproducible issue. The size is great. 16 inch version felt too large and a bit awkward to carry around the house. Screen looks fantastic. The build quality is superb as usual from Apple. One of the reasons for me to switch over to the Apple ecosystem from PC is mainly due to the poor UX on windows based machines. The fact that I can call/FaceTime on any Apple devices is a great testament to Apple’s well integrated UX across their machines. My only nitpick would be for this MacBook to have a notch but no face login is a missed opportunity to improve biometric security on their laptops. But I’ll take fingerprint login still. Thank you!
