Upgraded from 2019 macbook pro with intel. This new macbook pro blows that out of the water! So fast. And the extra inch screen size is so noticeable!

This is by far the best MB Pro under 16 inches ever! Yes, it is a bit thicker than it's smaller cousins. It should be, it has been lifting weights. This baby is FAST! The screen is spectacular! Well, except the lack of a touch screen that many of us who have lived in a PC world. The notch...what notch? Most of the apps have worked around the notch and is therefore not noticed. I chose a black background for the Desk Top Image. I also prefer using dark mode. Both concealing the notch. The rounded edges, all be it almost Apple Retro, is a welcome change. Heck, even having the "MacBook Pro" on the bottom instead of on the screen chin, is nice. I really miss having a 2 in 1 laptop. I really prefer not to have to switch to, either my Surface Go 2 or iPad Mini 6 for drawing and marking up PDF's. Apple, it is time to put a touch screen on some of your MB pro's or .......dare I say it? OS X on an iPad Pro+? I returned this and pre ordered the new Samsung S8 Ultra. The iPad pro 12 inch still stinks in the file management department, and it shouldn't. If you are in the Mac World. Now is the time to jump on one of these. $200 off at Best Buy! BTW, Speaking of Best Buy. They have been awesome to work with. Their crew at the Kenosha and Racine stores are AWESOME!

I recently purchased a MacBook from Best Buy, and the overall experience was exceptional. The staff was knowledgeable, assisting me in choosing the right model based on my needs. The purchase process was smooth, and I appreciated the competitive pricing. The MacBook itself has lived up to its reputation, delivering top-notch performance and sleek design. Best Buy continues to be my go-to for reliable tech purchases.

The last time I had a MacBook Pro was some years back, I had a 2015 model--It was the last MBK Pro that was, in any way, user serviceable. It had the original MagSafe, all the connectivity, AND an Optical Drive! What!? What's that, right? Best Buy had an awesome price on this laptop, and I traded in my 2020 MacBook Air--The last of the wedge shaped Airs. I had some reservations about that, but I really wanted the Pro, having begun to feel the constraints of the Air line. But with the lower price and the trade-in credit, it was a move I couldn't pass up. It was time. This laptop is just, in a word, Awesome! Going forward, It's nothing less than the Pro line. This machine, looks and sounds amazing, and feels effortless to interact with. MY one minor beef isn't with the laptop. It's with Apple: What is your love affair with the notch? Seriously? LOL. I admit, I'm a dork, I like my menu bar icons, and the notch is in the way. lol. I digress. It's a grumbling point but not a deal breaker. Battery life is good. There is more going on, relative to the Air that I base my comparison on, so I can't fault it too much. I know the importance of RAM. I have never experienced a machine with 16G of RAM before; You feel the difference! Pro Motion, you see the difference. The speakers? You hear the difference! In my opinion, Apple's Engineers aren't just making great hardware, they are pushing (if not breaking) the limits of physics!

This laptop is amazing, from its performance to the mini LED screen to the speaker system, the list goes on and on. The fact that they "added back" the ports is funny, but also speaks to the fact that they figured out they had frustrated their fanbase. It is great having them all on board and not needing a dongle anymore. This laptop is "pro" level, for sure. And the performance completely blows me away!

Upgraded from a 2015 MacBook Pro as I was waiting for the features of this 2021 model. After one month I am a huge fan - though it is probably more computer than I really need. Battery life is quite good although I have noticed that some applications (e.g. Microsoft Teams with video) can drain it more quickly than I would like. Otherwise has all-day usability, great screen and audio, and a nice keyboard. One drawback is the bulk - definitely heavier than my 2015.

I've owned every Apple laptop since they first started making them. This is by far the best of them all. It's super-fast, the display is beautiful, and the battery lasts for hours even with heavy use. I really appreciate all the ports. I can use the HDMI to connect to my 35" monitor and connect all my peripherals with ports to spare. I can't imagine any way this could be improved.

Mac has never disappointed me and switching to apple silicon was an awesome decision. Speed, display, sound and battery are top of the notch

I love this laptop. Screen is beautiful, powerful for what I use it. Runs photoshop, Lightroom really well and it just works.

I had anxiety at first as I’ve never spent this much on a laptop… But man!!! This was well worth the purchase! I purchased the base model of the 14inch and after spending 100 dollars on a discounted Samsung T7 shield ssd I have enough storage for what I do and for the future! I only wish that you were able to expand the storage on your own but I believe Apple finally focused more on practicality more than the design of this product! Overall this is a fantastic laptop! The experience is better and enhanced with more of apples products but as of right now I’m content with just my IPhone 11 and AirPods. The screen is beautiful and I was blown away at the quality of the speakers and camera! I went from a Lenovo ideapad 3 so you can only guess how big of an upgrade this is! Apple hit the nail on the head with the M1 Pro chip and I am impressed by its multitask ability that im sure gets better in expanded memory and ram. macOS was hard getting used to at first but I’m finally understanding it! If you come from windows say bye to the number pad! I never noticed how great it was to have one but you’ll get used to the minimalistic design of the MacBook! My only wish is that I could have more than 2 windows open side by side. If you want to do this you will have to download a 3rd party app but thankfully most of those work seamlessly on the MacBook if downloaded from the App Store!

Bought this for our visual team at church and they love it. Compact with a punch

I love this laptop. It runs well, doesn't hit up, and doesn't make any loud sounds. Definitely a great purchase.

Loving my new M1 MacBook the 14" is a great throw back to when we had 14" G4 MacBooks, it was always my favorite sized screen. The M1 processor is lightyears ahead of the Intel chip and the ports selection along with mag safe are welcomed additions and returns. Seems like Apple is returning to listening to customers vs making decisions for customers when it comes to ports, screens etc...

The performance is off the charts, I've never experienced such seamless multitasking and speed. And can we talk about that sleek design? It's like the epitome of sophistication. Working on it feels like a luxury experience, and it's not just about looks, the functionality is top-notch too. Overall, a great laptop that's not just a tool but also a style statement. Loving every minute with it!

I upgraded from a MacBook Air (2018). The new MacBook Pro is a big step up in performance, and thanks to a pretty compelling sale I paid only a little more than the old machine cost a few years ago. It's bigger, which is a mixed bag. I like the extra screen real estate. But it's also thicker and noticeably heavier. Improved battery life helps justify the extra weight.

After replacing a much older MacBook Pro, I decided to go with this MacBook Pro as it was slightly bigger than my previous MacBook, but not too large enough that it isn’t as portable as I’d like it to be, especially when I travel frequently, which made the 16 inch version not an option. This laptop is great, it’s fast, it’s light, It’s quiet, and it was priced right.
