Really glad I went with the Pro. This is my third mac and in terms of performance, this has been second to none. Most of the programs I run take a lot of memory and it has been reliable with no issues or slow down. 10/10

I had the M1 air, I upgraded to this and I’ve been very happy with it. The screen quality is amazing. The air is thinner and lighter but I’m ok with the trade off. I think my kids would prefer the air for its portability and I think the battery lasted longer on the air.

I've been a MacBook Pro user for well over a decade now and have been repeatedly disappointed with Apple's direction and revisions of their flagship laptop over those years. This version changes everything - I'm fully in love again. The resurrected ports, the much-improved keyboard, and even the remarkable spatial audio are all just the MINIMUM highlights for me - performance with the M1 Pro has been stellar, as well. And that notch? It's a tad odd, but it didn't take long at all for me to get used to it (and it does NOT interfere with your screen space - the entire menu bar is added and new screen space to the MacBook - technically a taller screen). If you're in the market for a high-end laptop, there's no better choice - even at the entry level with this base model. Trust me.

The newest MacBook Pro 14" laptop is a beast. More ports and the new M1 pro chip is just fast. Miss the Touch Bar, but did I mention there was more ports. If you want the best there is, I highly recommend the MacBook Pro 14"!!

I have been waiting for this particular laptop to be released for about 2 years and thankful I was able to get one. The screen is fantastic and colors are vibrant. Had the 16" intel option while in school and was a little too big for my everyday carry. I recently had the M1 Mac mini so it was great to see the same fast speed in this 14". There are two things I wished this had. One being at least one USB A port since my PreSonus interface uses that connecter. The other being an ethernet port. Though that would make it a bit thicker, so at least my Anker USB C hub solves both of those small problems.

Been a PC user for many years, but with Apple mobile devices. Decided to try to fully consolidate, and the sale price on this MacBook Pro made a test run reasonable. Short answer, after about a week or so, I haven't used my PC since.

Powerful and compact at a great value. Did heat up during heavy use because the fans don’t remo up early enough, but this is a no brainer when on sale

Having the ability to upgrade and consistently push great products is a strength few companies can lay claim to. Apple is one of those companies. The combination of quality, features and performance are unmatched. Coming from a late 2019 16" Macbook Pro, the bar is set high and this machine delivers! Smooth 120hz refresh rate is so buttery smooth. The keyboard strokes are very good and responsive. The speakers are extremely good! Amazing bass and clarity that even surpass the 16" MBP. MAC OS Monterey is gorgeous and efficient and continues to impress. Battery life is unlike anything in the industry. Unreal battery life, and the return of Magsafe charging is a beautiful thing. Returning of the HDMI port, SD Card slot sre a must! Thanks for listening Apple, keep it up!

Bought this to replace my previous MacBook that unexpectedly crashed after 5 years. Trying to save money bought the smaller screen and regret that! Overall a great Mac product, very fast, with great battery life, but have found it seems glitchy at times. I am not techy so I don't know what the problem is exactly, I don't think it is the actual device so much as the apps? Notes and excel seem to get stuck, locked frequently.

It's several months later, and I still love my MacBook Pro. The performance of the M1 Pro chip is still better than a 12th Gen i7. By double - literally double on geekbench. Love that they added back the ports and magsafe - although the magsafe is a little easy to knock out. My MacBooks in the past with magsafe were a little more secure. FIngerprint reader is great - love having the function keys back over the touchbar. Sound quality is better than any other laptop, windows or Mac, that I've ever had. Webcam is the best one I've used. Recently tried several high end Windows machines and none of them came close to the MacBook in speed or quality, especially when it Comes to the camera.

Outstanding purchase still runs like a dream. Over two years old and feels like new!!

This is a very good computer, especially the acoustics are much better than my old MacBook, the MAC operating system is always easy to use, and there are no problems running large games or watching TV shows. Overall, this computer is very good

This MacBook Pro is amazing. Stunning beautiful images and lightening speed on startup and while using multiple programs simultaneously. Battery life is excellent. Simply a great device in all aspects.

The base model has been sufficient for writing software and 3D modeling. I loved my 13" 16GB M1 for its portability, but it was constantly under memory pressure. If you're considering the 13" for its size, the 14" is not much larger and packs in more performance.

I realize it's an M1 and they are at M3 now but man so smooth have not had any problems with it. Plus I use it for military and works great even with DOD sites.

GREATEST MacBook that I've ever used. This thing is a beast. As a student, I am quite tech savvy and having this in my inventory makes a world of a difference. Everything that I want to do, this thing can do at blazing fast speeds.

It's a MacBook. Purchase for work! The most basic of office work, nothing multimedia intensive because this can't keep up. Don't let go of your Intel MacBook or skip this one and move to the M2 Pro for the added performance and battery life. If you need to work on multimedia, you are better off with at least 32GB RAM -16 is good enough for MS Office not for Photoshop. Absolutely no gaming
