I purchased this as a replacement for my 2015 13in Macbook Air and boy what a difference this makes. the difference in screen real estate alone is amazing. The machine is fast and serves all of my needs. I'm probably considered a "light" user. I would recommend this to anyone. I am delighted to have an HDMI port!! The only thing I had to get accustomed to was the weight of the pro vs. the air, but it was no biggie.

A great laptop works smoothly. This laptop works well in terms of convenience, ease of use, and smoothness. It's very sleek and has never really caused any problems. Seamlessly fit into the Apple ecosystem so it's a plus for Apple users. There are no issues like heating up or fan noises. However, it can struggle to run certain functions on heavy software like Rhino 3D. Overall pretty good!

The laptop is great oveall. Much heavier than my last macbook pro, but I like that. Only issues are with certain bugs, the photobooth camera freezes a day or so after booting up the laptop. I waited too long before sending it in, so don't be like me. Still a great laptop though. I LOVE MACBOOK PROS!

I got this machine as a compliment to, and upgrade from, my two previous MBP's (13" mid2010 & 17" late2011)- Although it may technically surpass those now ancient machines, it is inferior in almost every other aspect, both functionally and aesthetically.- The Apple Silicon may perform rings around the old Intel based infrastructure, but it is pathetically fragile as well as functionally limited, ie, can not externally boot into a clone, or restore from one, without reinventing the wheel. It is fraught with latent (hidden) weaknesses that basically reduce it's functionality to that of a very expensive toy, for bragging rights, and status, mostly.- NO UPGRADABLE PARTS! IMHO, It is clumsy, delicate and outrageously overpriced for whatever performance benefits Apple incessantly harps on, ad infinitum.- BATTERY LIFE IS MARKEDLY BETTER! We are being asked to pay more (a lot more) for a lesser machine (than MBP's of over a decade previous), that perhaps make the fan boys & girls tingle with delight, but would (should) make Steve J. cringe. Triumphantly and arrogantly inferior, I am sorry to say...

Everything works perfect with all my other Apple devices, upgraded from a 2012 MacBook and this is a big needed upgrade with the powerful Apple silicon M1 Chip.

It is such an amazing and functional computer. I upgraded to this from my 2016 15" MacBook and it was a pretty nice upgrade. Also the range on the speakers is impressive- it can get very loud. It's really convenient, especially as a college student with many things to do. It handles my bad habit of having 50 tabs open at the same time well.

I needed an upgrade from my Apple Air, this has lots of storage, it's sleek ( as always with Apple products), and light weight. I bought a second for my partner.

The power and the feather weight of this is unbelievable! The M1 chip makes this thing purr. With the new operating system it can compete with Windows. The Center Stage feature makes it easier to be more productive. If you are on the fence don't be it's a great machine that is exciting to work on. I would recommend watching Youtube videos on using the Mac operating system. Also videos for those who are switching from Windows to Mac, and on the best programs for the Mac.

Amazing performance @ a sale price. Love Mac, hate windows. Currently have a newer $1,600 Windows Surface Pro with all bells & whistles & a 4 year old Lenovo E590. Mac Book Pro blows them out of the water. No comparison. Software you can have your preferences, but the truth of the matter is Mac is the best. My battery has lasted (4) days & I have not even charged it (with light use). By far, hands down the best. Don’t criticize if you can’t afford one.

So far after a few months it’s been a great computer! Really fast, great for editing, and I’m really happy I got the option with more storage and more memory, definitely makes a difference.

So far the computer is everything I hoped it would be: fast, high resolution screen, great sound. It runs XCode without the time lags and hesitation of my old machine.

My first MacBook Pro was the best decision making buying this laptop. Exceeded my expectations, love it, and fast computer no issue working with multiple screens open.

Expectations were high but have been exceeded. I use primarily this for work, accessing Citrix and using two monitors, or sometimes just my iPad as a secondary display. Sidecar is my favourite feature, if you have an iPad and are considering a laptop other than a MacBook, shift your focus. It handles the work great, and also works seamlessly with my other apple products (watch, iPad, phone and AirPods).

For $1599 + Tax it was well worth it. I have been using it for computer science and have not noticed any slow downs yet. The build quality is top notch.

I have been using this computer for years now and still works better than any laptop I’ve ever used! The new updates give the software boosts and a new look which I love! Worth every penny!
