The Apple Pro 16” Laptop has the speed and storage I need for large video projects. The 16 gigs of ram chews through large clips and the 1 Terabyte storage has plenty of space. I only gave the battery life a 4 only because I know that like all batteries it will decay over time. Out of the box though, it is great.

I'm a wedding photographer so I need one of the fastest computers out there. I'm fluent with Windows and OS..but MacBook has won me over. This MacBook though..holy cow. It is incredible and super fast. There are a lot of things I love about this..there are few things I don't like. Pros: Bigger screen, faster chip, more space (that SSD FLIES), SD card reader right on the side. Battery life is FANTASTIC. Cons: went back to the old charger style..I enjoyed the USB C, it's big and bulky like the old ones used to be, the Touch Bar is gone. Overall...this thing is incredible. Fast, every program runs smoothly and I run Photoshop and Lightroom at the same time...Lightroom usually have 2k-4k photos running in the background and it doesn't even stall.

Excelent computer apple products the best, been with this for 3 years without a problem, is like having the car on all the time, processing, quality, speed all awesome.

Had a 13 in for about 7 years. Upgraded to the base model 14in M1 Pro with 2TB. Sold that to upgrade to this on a $500 sale. Worth it! Only miss the extra TB of space. Quick, can last for days on a single charge. I shoot photos and videos. No issue editing 6k canon r3 video. Speedy beast. I'm sure ( also hoping) to use this for close to another decade or close to it. Love the extra space vs larger ssd. bought a 2tb Samsung t7 shield for Black Friday as well to balance out. I also understand windows has great options as well. I just prefer apple. Not too much into gaming on this other than civ 6 or streaming from geforce now or xcloud. Want to get a pc for dedicated games if I can.

I have been eyeing a MacBook Pro for over a decade. The time finally arrived to take the plunge and I couldn’t be more happy with the purchase! It’s everything I was looking for in a laptop, and more! It’s fast, it’s easy to figure out how to use (previously a Windows user), and it is beautiful. It arrived 4 days sooner than expected and everything arrived in pristine condition (short of the boxes they were shipped in). I have only ever used it off the charger once, so I can’t give a full rating on the battery yet but from what I did see, in the short time I used it, it’s not disappointing!

Amazing machine. If you have had a laptop pro before- you know! If you haven’t, it’s really a great machine. My first one lasted 11years. Yes, 11! I was finally unable to update it and it started getting slow. Decided to look at the new ones. Best Buy hand a good deal decided to go for it and so glad I did. Screen is phenomenal and the machine is quick and I can work on multiple tasks at the same time, no lagging. Works seamlessly with all ny other Apple products.

I had been dipping my toes into the MacOS pool for a couple of years now, and when I got my hands on this 16" MacBook Pro it cemented the move away from Windows. I've had my fill of lackluster, unreliable Windows hardware over the past few years and can't say enough positive things about this MacBook. Incredible screen, amazing battery life, great performance for photo and video editing, great sound, runs cool under load, and has the best keyboard I've used in a while. Worth every penny.

This is without a doubt the best laptop I've ever owned. It handles everything I throw at it with ease and Even though I've had it for 2 years now I feel absolutely no pressure to upgrade and think that I will be using this laptop for many years to come.

This MacBook Pro is an absolute powerhouse. It can handle anything I throw at it, whether it be photo and video editing in Photoshop and Final Cut Pro, or graphic design in Illustrator. While I am not proficient in Logic Pro, the MacBook has handled this program efficiently as well. The MacBook also handles multitasking extremely well, with the likes of Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat Pro able to handle multiple files simultaneously without slowing down. The speakers and display on this MacBook Pro are truly next-level. A display of this caliber would cost as much or more than the entire price of this laptop. It truly is a treat. The speakers have a level of depth in them that is unmatched among other laptop speakers, at least in my experience. The battery life has also been phenomenal, and charges unbelievably quickly with the included 140w power adapter. In conclusion, I believe this MacBook Pro is worth its price, and more. It has been a great experience to use, and all the extra connectivity such as MagSafe charging, as well as the HDMI port and SD card slot, are nice bonuses.

I bought it when I learned that this was going to have the SD card slot as well as an HDMI! And the screen is really good as well as the audio and the battery life is great and the charger is fast !! The only con is because it is a 16 inch laptop typing on it for more than an hour starts to feel uncomfortable. Maybe even sooner

Love this laptop! The screen is huge and it runs fast. Multiple software applications can be running at the same time and this computer doesn't slow down at all!

An absolute powerhouse of a laptop. I love using mine every day. The battery lasts me a long time. It has all the ports I need for everyday usage. It is still going strong from the day I purchased it last year around this time! I thought about buying a PC laptop but glad I didn't. Craftsmanship and quality can't be beat with MBP line.

An amazing upgrade to my 2015 MBP!!! This thing is so fast even with Lightroom witch is notoriously slow no matter what your computers specs are. A little heavy but nothing too bad. The screen is amazing as well. Then there's the battery. I can not believe how long this lasts. Finally Apple makes a battery that lasts more than a hour.

The large formant MacBook Pro 16" is a real workhorse. Its one of many I have acquired for professional application development and have almost only positive things to say. The new M1 Pro chip is great. We don't love the new styling overall, but certainly enjoy the extra ports. We're mixed on MagSafe2...we typically have docking stations so we never felt that the USB C power source was a problem. Working in with large files has been a dream on this unit. It gets warmer while crunching/compiling, never as hot as the i9 versions we still use! Beyond the styling, we wish Apple would have found a way to make the darn thing less heavy. At the end of a Xcountry flight, your MacBook - or Backbreaking Book will be noticed. Truly, unless you're in a development environment, or visual arts, this machine is unnecessary - and I would recommend one consider the M1 or M2 MacBook Air. 90% of people will be thrilled with these lower spec machines as the still blow most WinTel laptops away. Let your work be your guide.

My first apple review, but I have to do it. This MacBook is by far the greatest laptop I have ever owned (actually it's my wife's). It is so versatile battery life is phenomenal. It's a beast when you need it to be. My wife is so happy with it she does not want to even mention windows lol. Its mostly on sale I highly recommend it.
