It remains remarkably fast and well-built, boasting an exceptional screen and webcam that I've come to rely on. While I'd welcome a future model with expanded storage and memory capabilities, this one has proven its staying power.

I love everything about this laptop. Battery life is A+. Screen is A+ and the Speed is A+ also. This is a must have.

Well, I love this MacBook Pro with the M1 chip — which makes the battery last just about a whole work shift and keeps it remarkably cool such that the fan never kicks on. Sleek, fast and fun, able to run several work-related programs and a browser. $400 off around Christmas made this a great deal.

Excellent! The battery life is Awesome. It has a large screen for opening several windows at the same time. It is super fast with a great display. It has a killer sound system. I have 5 laptops and this 16 inch is the best!

Got the 16” MacBook Pro with M1 Pro two years ago, and it still flies. The performance is rock solid, the display is stunning, and the overall feel of the MacBook and macOS is just perfect. Worth every penny.

The 16” MacBook Pro series with M1 or M2 processors are powerful laptops with beautiful screens and great graphics. They also carry a bit more weight than the Intel MacBooks. The weight is necessary to have cooling systems that keep the MacBook Pro running at full speed. Personally, I agree that performance is the right choice.

This laptop is pricey but worth every penny. It is extremely fast and snappy. Also, the picture quality on the screen is amazing and so vivid. The keyboard and touchpad feel very nice to use. There is also a great selection of ports for both hdmi and usb-c.

New laptop after years of not having one for personal use. Nice screen, nice battery life, fast (but they usually are when brand new so we'll see). A little expensive for what it is, but it's Apple.

I use this laptop for my business and this is truly the best work machine for folks that wear many hats in their daily jobs or business. Apps open quickly, working on digital media is smooth and the retina screen is a pleasure to work on. Highly recommend this workstation to anyone

The screen, the speed, the keyboard, everything is exactly what you’d expect from a “pro” named laptop. We use it to edit photos and the everyday web surfing. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a new MacBook. Looks good too!

It's perfect. My first MacBook Pro was a 15" back in 2012, and I loved it. Since then, though I've tried the Air, the 13" and using the iPad Pro, it just wasn't the same. The raw speed, keyboard, and screen all back to my first experience with a Macbook Pro. Is it expensive? Yes, but it's well worth it for me. The only thing I hate with a passion was buying it through BB, now realizing that I don't get any points for this purchase. It's about the stupidest thing I've seen BB do to their customers. I searched it up, and they started doing it in 2019, which surprised me since I had not made significant apple purchases in the last three years. Anyway, I love the laptop, never buying an apple product from Best Buy. I'm almost tempted to return it and go to the Apple Store.

Always wanted a bigger screen MacBook Pro. I had the 13 inch for 10 years and bought this one because it had the HDMI output. It works well for when I DJ. Love this MacBook Pro 16 inch. The battery last very long without having to plug in the charger

This 16” is a great addition to the Mac line up. It beats the 2020 M1 in performance, screen size, and battery life. Multitasking on the device is super speedy and the weight of the device was heavy at first but now I’m used to it.

Very powerful out of the box and years later. The MBP can handle anything you throw at it with no sweat. Very fast computer and has a beautiful display. We are on year 3 and the computer runs just as good as it did out of the box on day 1. Would highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. I have always spent the money for a MAC, because it lasts much longer than a high-end PC.

We purchased this for our elementary principal who has been using her personal MacBook for several years and it finally started having battery issues. She requested a MacBook but with a bigger screen. We purchased this one and she is happy with it so far. It has some definite weight to it. I would definitely consider getting a bag to carry it around in. She just carries it as is but I think most would prefer not to do that. The speed is great. I set it up for her with her Apple ID, etc. the other day, purchased a license for the desktop version of Office products and had it all ready to go in under an hour. There was literally no lag.

Upgraded from a 2019 13 inch MacBook Pro with that silly intel processor. I’m so glad I did. The 16 inch M1 MacBook Pro handles all the processes I throw at it. I do quite a bit of photo editing with Lightroom and Photoshop. The fans have not kicked on once with the new laptop. There’s hardly any heat coming from it as well. It’s fast. I do miss the much hated Touch Bar, but you get over it. The notch at the top is not noticeable on the space grey and when using dark wallpapers. The battery is outstanding! Well worth the purchase.

Where do I even start with this review - I suspect I can start with stating this is the best portable computer I have ever purchased. When I heard Apple was moving to their silicon, I was somewhat apprehensive. I thought my days of using the Mac would be over, as it would lead down a path of apps that only work on M1 or only work on Intel, and there would be compatibility issues and bugs to work out for the first few generations. My expectations couldn't have been farther from the truth. All but one or two ancillary applications I use have been compiled for native Apple Silicon and those that aren't run without issue. The most prominent app I use that is still not native for Apple Silicon is Microsoft Teams. Previous to this, I had a 2017 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar - it was a dual-core i7 with 16GB of memory. A solid performer at the time, but I was never impressed with battery life, and the amount of heat that the machine produced was evident of the inefficiencies in that platform. The new M1 machine is light years ahead in this regard. No matter how long I use the machine or whatever I throw at it, it NEVER heats up - and along these lines, the battery lasts forever. I'm not sure I've had the battery drop past 75% even after using for upwards of four hours untethered to the charger. I was hesitant to go anywhere without the charger with my old MBP. With this device, I have no issues going out for a few hours with the computer and not worrying about if I've got my charger with me. The display on this machine is fantastic. It's bright, colors are vivid, and the ProMotion Refresh is killer. Scrolling through any type of content is so smooth. Did I mention it's fast? Apps open instantly, and 16GB of memory seems to be enough. I now use this as my main computer, displacing my 27" Quad Core i5 iMac with 24GB of memory on my desktop machine for seven years. I have tons of apps open all the time, including most of the core MS Office suite, text editors, SSH sessions, Slack, Zoom, and countless browsers with multiple tabs, and this machine doesn't slow down in the least. All in all, I can't say anything bad about this computer, even for its size, the extra pound and change that it weighs over my previous generation 13" MBP. If you twisted my arm, I'd say that this machine is slightly too large to use comfortably in economy seats on most aircraft - so keep that in mind.
