best macbook ever made
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is the best laptop i have ever owned. it fixes every flaw that my 15 inch macbook pro 2018 had. the screen is amazing. the battery life is amazing. the performance is amazing. the keyboard is amazing. the port selection is amazing. it doesn't get hot at all. i have been a mac user for a while and it is strange to have a mac that trounces my pc laptops in every category.

Figures
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.20 days after I bought it the right speaker started sounding blown even at a low volume. I found that a number of people are experiencing this. Unfortunately, Best Buy has tiered system and not a flat return or exchange by date. I was unaware their policy had changed. 1/2 star for Best Buy 1/2 star for Apple

Not Impressed at all
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I miss my old laptop. Not very impressed with this Mac. Touchpad is stiff and overall is not as easy to learn and operate as my previous HP laptop. Would not purchase again.

Horrible business
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The store wouldn’t let me return my damaged MacBook Pro after 3 days of use, claimed the screen was cracked when it wasn’t, sold my apple care that I don’t have access too and every time I go in to get help they tell me they can’t help me, that a manager will call, and the manager never calls

Horrible service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product is fine, the service at your WLA Pico store is horrid. I was lied to repeatedly about the availability of the laptop I bought online. Your staff apparently sold it after I bought online and lied for 3 days claiming that my account was on hold when actually you just didn't have my laptop having sold it to someone else. At least 4 staff members lied to me repeatedly.

Great product at great price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent product, a great update to my 5 year old 15” MacBook Pro. However, I didn’t expect the 16” MBP is so much heavier. May have considered the 14” version if I knew.

Heart Broken
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Completely disappointed. Took it home and it had a crack. I had to take it to apple for repairs. Not happy at all considering it came closed and I didn't open it in the store.

Buy it somewhere else.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s fine. Everyone knows it’s a fine laptop. Sending this review because purchasing through BestBuy was a mistake. Terrible service for a high price item.

Great Laptop!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new MBP16 is a truly nice machine. The display is crystal clear and sharp, the keyboard is sized perfectly, smooth and quiet and the performance is lightning fast and trouble-free. The space gray is, well, gray, but it truly is beautiful, rugged and looks like it will hold up for years. This new model replaces a much older 17 inch MBP that has been a loyal friend for years. The sheer computing power of this new one, of course, leaves my older one in the dust. It's also thinner, lighter, cooler and more quiet. The built in speakers sound excellent and the track pad is larger and more versatile with various options for one, two or three fingers. The power supply, cable and plug appears to be better made as well. However, like most things post-Jobs Apple, there's some annoying issues too, which is why this machine only scores four stars instead of the five it should receive. First is the elimination of industry standard ports. The lightning ports are cool, for sure, but there is not a standard USB port anywhere on this machine. The USB plug is the single most popular plug in the world and this laptop should accommodate at least two of those. There's also no connection for a standard Cat 6 network connector in order to plug in directly to your local network. I get that Apple often designs stuff with style over substance, but honestly, a little versatility and functionality isn't too much to ask for, especially given the $2400 price tag. And to add inconvenience to insult, there is no CD-ROM drive, so if you want to watch a DVD, listen to an audio CD or burn a disc, you will need an external device - with a lightning adapter. What all of this means is when you buy your new MBP, it's just a basic starting point. To work, access discs, use a mouse, access a flash drive or connect to a hard network, you will need specialized accessories and dongles. Things like port hubs and adapters, special mice, external disc drives and possibly more. It's like buying a beautiful luxury car with no usable options. The last little ding is that the recent OS appears to be a little less intuitive. Easy things like uploading your music files from an older Mac or accessing files on your iPhone aren't as simple and straightforward as they should be. Even changing the background image requires too many clicks and tricks. I've used Macs for many years, and loved how the earlier ones were extremely user-friendly. This one is not quite that simple, but like all things, we learn to adapt.

MacBook Pro M1 16” Review
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The MacBook Pro M1 16” has met most all my expectations. Speed, quality, screen and ease of use are all excellent. The data transfer from my older MBP was for the most part painless. However, there were glitches along the way that took some time and effort to overcome. The biggest issue I have is syncing with my iOS devices has not gone smoothly and continues to be somewhat problematic. Overall I’m pleased with the product but had high expectations for such a premium product.

MacBook Pro 16" - A Powerful Workhorse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An extremely powerful laptop with M1 chip manufactured in 2021. It's definitely a workhorse for those needing intensive graphic demand or for those working on a day-to-day basis requiring a stable laptop that will live up to the demands of annual OS and programs upgrades. It's much more robust than its cousin MacBook Air with superior sound and double the standard RAM size and HD.
