blu ray release, a couple of episodes have a bizarre "shimmer" in a portion of the picture, but it's not enough to make one not purchase this set. Also, it's in the correct 4:3 aspect ratio which is a "must" for those of us who watched 80's TV in the actual 1980s.

If you love MacGyver and even if you have the classic ones on DVD this is definitely a step in the right direction. This is been re-colored and sharpened up and brings it back to a refreshing new look for new modern TVs highly recommend even if you have the classic DVDs

I'm so used to seeing the old MacGyver transfers on TV that I couldn't believe how beautiful the Blu Ray looks. Absolutely stunning and reinvigorates the series.

Its like being a kid again. Reminds me of when the show was new on tv. Love the quality.

MacGyver is great as usual . The tabs that hold the discs in the case were (are) broken. I ordered Season Two and Season Six and still waiting for them to arrive! So it's the shipping that has issues. Best Buy has always sold me quality merchandise so I do recommend a purchase. Perhaps ya"ll will have better luck from the shipping department. The discs make for some good father and son quality time.

Finally, MacGyver can be watched in HD. It’s amazing to be able to watch 80’s classics in HD. Cannot wait for the rest of the seasons to be released on Blu-ray.

I used to watch the tv show macgyver back when it was on tv and and it was one of my favorite tv shows.I bought the first season of macgyver dvd because in my opinon it is a very entertaining show.
