If you already watched this film and want to watch it again in higher quality, or if you're buying to watch it for the first time, you can't go wrong here. As for those of you looking for extended and more special features, don't look for them here. Perhaps wait a bit until a collection with Fury Road comes out but that might just have the films.

This did not top the second in the MAD MAX series but still a fun ride. The Thunderdome fight should have happened at the end because the final chase scene contained a large slice of Charley Chaplin. Still worth watching tho.

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome: This was pretty cutting edge for its time. It holds up OK for that era, but it dosen't have the same "punch" as the recent Mad Max: Fury Road. However, it's not a bad flick if you're looking to expand the video library!!

Great movie, great price. I purchased this movie when the Best Buy Upgrade and Save promotion was running for DVD/BluRay. I feel Best Buy should run that promotion more often. Just remember when you buy a BluRay movie, they only wok in BluRay players! It's well worth the upgrade! The picture and video quality is ten times better!

With a 4th movie in this series in the works it only makes sense to assure that the previous 3 versions of Max (Mel Gibson) are given the accolades they deserve by being immortalized in high-def. For this third installment we get the extra joy of Ms. Tina Turner and between Mel and Tina we are continuously entertained.

This Blu-ray has good picture and sound quality. The only thing that could have been included is more extras. Tina Turner’s music videos for “We Don’t Need Another Hero” & “One of the Living” should have been included.

My favorite of the mad max movies. I LOVE Tina Turner in this - she is amazing! And Mel Gibson is one of the greatest leading men actors in all of cinema. This is the best.

This is a great movie especially on Blue Ray. The quality is really good for being an older movie. No need to talk about or review the movie since all Mad Max fans have already seen it or probably had it on VHS back in the day. Add this one to the collection!!

Before Hunger Games there was another arena where players fought to the death, THUNDERDOME. Great action with enough plot to make it through the slower parts. I'm hoping this movie gets a reboot like Fury Road. TIP: Use the Best Buy Price Match policy to match online vendor pricing.

This one starts off great but kind of goes off the rails in the second half. The disc presentation leaves a lot to be desired as well. Certainly not my favorite of the Mad Max movies even though some parts are fantastic.

The third movie in the franchise, Beyond Thunderdome doesn't disappoint when it comes to the action and the star power. Mel Gibson and Tina Turner work great together and the story is solid. Will Max make it out alive, or will he be just another raggedy man in the wasteland

Mad Max. The Road Warrior. This movie is quite interesting. Takes a bit of a turn from the previous movies but still has the heart of the originals. Watched this and the previous others before the release of last years Mad Mad Fury Road. Great part of cinematic history

The Blu-ray conversion on the film makes it easily a great movie to own having bought it out of the bargain bin. May be the weakest of the Mad Max franchise but nonetheless still very entertaining.

I LOVE Mad Max as he gets it on in this post-apocalyptic action film series. a MUST to own.

Great Third installment of the MAD MAX franchise!! Loved it when it came out when I was a kid...LOVE it even more now...Especially on BLURAY, Only one draw back...Wisj there were more special features!! But otherwise the PICTURE looks great!!!

This completes my Mad Max trilogy. Although not as good in my opinion as the first two, none the less a classic. Great picture and sound, I am pleased, also for 5.99 you can't go wrong.

With the new mad max due to hit soon; it was good to go back to the last one and check out the thunder dome. Tina turner was great; a lot of interesting characters. Not as dark as the first two.

Picture and sound on this Blu-ray are well above average--Thunderdome hasn't looked and sounded this good since I saw it in the theater. Extras are practically non-existent, but I am simply please to have a pristine copy of this movie in my collection.

I really like the first half of this movie. The Thunderdome stuff is great. After that it changes pace, but it is still a fun ride!

As said in summary the Mad Max movies are entertaining and with the latest mad Max movie that came out I wanted to have them all in my collection and you can't go wrong with bluray.
