This game does football best, and with new two man coverage features and aggressive play types, you get to make decisions after the snap, either on defense on the way you cover the opposing teams receivers, and on the offense on how aggressive or non-aggressive you want to pass the ball. The controls are very smooth, and I really enjoy this installment of Madden!

I am a huge football fan, and have honestly been disappointed by Madden's representation of the sport for about a decade. The past few years have been major improvements, and this incarnation of Madden is the best one to date. I have a lot of faith in the team currently working on the game, and can't wait to see where the franchise will be in the next 2-3 years.

This game packs a few new features into the game while also continuing to perfect the other game modes. MUT still has some kinks to work out, but the new Draft Champions mode adds the excitement of fantasy drafts and the fun of MUT playing mode!! The new catch and defense features create an easy and expanded control set to make the game a little more exciting.

Madden has a rep for being iterative each year and not doing anything revolutionary, and that can be said about this year's version as well. However, its still a ton of fun, and if you want to play football on Xbox One this is the way to go. Lots of features to choose from, and while there's nothing that would compel a non-football fan to try it out, if you're a gamer and you like football then its something you need to get every couple years.

One of the first times a Madden game has felt very improved over the previous iterations. The game overall has slowed down, especially the running game, which has made a big (positive) impact on the game. New throwing/catching mechanics have also been added that seem to add more depth to the game and gives you a little more control . As of now, I have only done Franchise mode, but I would rate this as one of the better Maddens in recent years.
