This game from the start definitely looks better than previous games. The way players interact on the field and engage in tackles has never been better. The way players improve in Franchise mode is problem as they simply do not accrue enough xp given how expensive upgrade points are. The commentary is still the worst part of the game as it is horribly repetitive and uses many of the same phrases as last year.

Madden is usually about the same through the years so it's hard to give it a bad rating anyway. This year it steps up the catching with improvements on controlling and deciding how the ball should be handled and it works great. Great graphics and a new fantasy mode makes this one of the best Madden games I've ever played.

I really like this game. With the new controls, you have the opportunity to run the game the way you want to on offense and defense feeling like you are really in the game. The graphics are outstanding. I had a friend come over and asked "what channel the game was on?". That's how great the graphics are.

New look. New controls and a lot more to do. This game added more controls to passing for you. Online gameplay has evolved do to this. It is very hard to actually complete a pass as well as defend one. Making that glorious catch a small reward in many ways. The physics are great and players ar aggressive

Madden 16 is more than just a reboot of 15. The realism and features are way deeper than before. Also, the Draft Champions is really nice. The only room for improvement would be a way to speed-up some of the cut scenes during the game or easier menu navigation for common tasks in Madden Ultimate Team.

Without a doubt this is the best Madden game so far. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead if five is because the in-game presentation is still last generation. The gameplay and graphics are outstanding and the many available game modes give the game tons of replay value. This game is much more than just a roster update. It is a must have for any football fan!

I have been having a tremendous amount of fun with this years edition of Madden. The game plays smooth, the graphics are fantastic and the animations are believable. Sure it has its quirks as all games will, but the good far out weighs it. Highly recommended if you are a fan of football games.

As an avid Madden fan since '03, I can truly call this 16 one of my favorites. They improved a lot on last years and I particularly love the fact they focused on the passing game a little more this year. This is important because the modern game centers on the aerial attack a lot more nowadays than in years past. Must buy if you're a football fan.

Just like every installment of madden, they take what worked before and build on it. The game play is smooth and the graphics are better than ever. The controls are pretty much the same with a few tweaks, so it doesn't take long the get a good feel if you've played previously.

I generally buy Madden games every other to save money and get my money's worth out of the game. However, this year I decided to buy Madden 16 because my friend received the game early to review for a gaming website, and he raved about it. Boy, am I glad I purchased it! Madden 15 was fun, but was lacking in gameplay and I found the AI to be near impossible to stop in the passing game. To be short, here are some reasons I recommend this game: Madden 16 has improved on Madden 15 franchise when scouting players. Passing game in Madden has new pass catching features that allow for risky plays - a lot of fun if you have a big time wide receiver. New gaming modes - the quick fantasy draft mode is a lot of fun. And last but most important, the game engine is a lot more realistic. Tackles can now hurt you when making a risky dive tackle, and can help you if you wait. This has made the running game more realistic as well. TL;DR Buy this game.

Madden 2016 is the game you would want to get and play against friends and against people on X-box live. This game will let you dominate on the field with the new controls and features it has. The graphics to this game is superb. You can even put together your own team. I would recommend this game to friends.

Madden seems to always improve. The graphics are outstanding. All of the different game modes are fun. The tutorial is very deep so even if you haven't played in a while you can learn all of the basic and advanced controls at you're own speed.

Game is really good overall. Love that most of controls were the same. As well as trade in value made it affordable to purchase this copy! Some minor tweaks need to be made. Stop making players attempt a catch with one hand ONLY! And stop having perfectly aligned catches, with no one around, to be dropped.

This is the first Madden in a while that has actual solid improvements to it. Graphics look correct, and the game controls while a bit difficult to master (that's the fun of it right) are welcomed improvements from prev. version.....all in all a fun game to play with friends again.....dare I say Touchdown

Every year the game gets better and for me this is the best year yet. I like the way you can earn XPs and confidence in the Career mode. The players look even more realistic than ever. I'm glad I could carry over my settings from Madden 15.

Ok, I love sports and video games. Sometimes video games created with sports titles can be somewhat dull. Madden has always been cool to play, but only because it is the ONLY NFL game out there. I was expecting this game to be the same ol same ol madden football game with updated rosters and newer jerseys and other simple things. I was wrong. I was pleasantly surprised by the updated mechanics of this game. I LOVE the complex but simple play style and how the CPU can react to different things. Definately an upgrade. A piece of me feels that this game should have been last year's title, but I guess if I have it NOW, I won't complain. This game surely won't dissapoint. Don't get me wrong, it will still have some weird and awkward things happen, but it is better than last year and that's about all I can ask for.

I've played a lot of EA football games (NCAA and Madden), but this is by far my favorite. The throwing game is by far the biggest improvement. My only complaint is the commentary. It's the exact same as last year and still very boring.

The mechanics and graphics are actually noticeably improved. I still don't like how the ratings are translated from normal ratings to franchise numbers. Overall, a good game to jump on if you haven't bought Madden in a few years.

Good game as usual, but hard to compare it to anything when this is the only official football game to choose from. Great graphics and improvements in the passing & catching game. Not too much different from any other Madden.
