EA sports improved this years Madden game better graphics and better sounds

I'm writing this based on my son's comments about the game. He's played Madden for a couple years now and has nothing but great things to say about this year's Madden. Loves all the game modes and graphics are often. I'll walk into the room and sometimes not be sure if a real game is on. Highly recommend this game!

This game is again following the tradition of previous Madden games. It is entertaining and good for many hours of play. The graphics are very good and there is a good variety of extras. All of the five member family enjoys playing Madden 18. Always looking forward to time with our new Madden game.

I had not played Madden in years, but we just got the PS4 and this game was a must have. I have to say that it was super easy to pick up and start playing. If you want to take time to learn, the Skills games are great. The graphics are incredible as well. Overall highly recommended.

It's been a while since I've played Madden. This new version is very nice. Graphics are top notch, and it's easy to learn and play. I had to go through the learning tutorial, but once you get it, it's very fun and competitive.

We all know what to expect from a Madden game, that has not changed in madden NFL 2018, but they did add a single player story campaign to it, which in my opinion is a great way to learn how to play Madden for those new to the franchise, and also a great addition to those who already enjoy the Madden games, but are now exposed to a new gameplay style within the same game. Most sports games would benefit from doing the same and this is a very welcome addition to this title for those of us who prefer to play solo story first, and the delving in to the multiplayer late. This is my first madden game and although a bit more complex than expected, it is still a joy to play.

I skipped madden since madden 25. I thought this game wouldn’t be a significant change from that version and boy I was wrong. What a great game with way more animations and great presentation on the sidelines. You do see some stiff mannequin figures and repeated player bots at times but the cutscene like animations where team mates talk to each other is magnificent. The commentators are great and every time I boot up the game they are getting updates throughout the season. The commentary never seem to get stale. Long shot is a great campaign and I hope next yr Devine is interwoven into franchise mode. I can’t wait to see how good the animations will be after 2 Years using the frostbite. I thought the microtransactions would be intrusive but I was wrong. I dabbled with Ultimate team and the game liberal gives you points for completing challenges.

Bought this for the kids, but I’ve decided to actually try to learn how to play. I don’t get all the plays and positions, but I have fun trying. The graphics and features are pretty cool, and the boys are huge Madden 2K fans anyway.

Great game all around! Graphics are good, gamely is smooth, and just fun to play. Online the game is great. Highly recommend it from madden lovers to beginners.

This is just the latest installment of the Madden series. Nothing too special here except my Raiders are finally on the rise and aren't in the basement of the ratings anymore. The only poor decision about this game was to put Brady on the cover... every snap he takes I hope it's his last. Sorry, still bitter about the tuck rule in 2001. Brady owes the Charles Woodson, John Gruden and the rest of the Raiders everything! This cover should have had the 2001 Raiders team on it. And Brady should start every interview with. I would like to thank the Raiders for being here today...

This is easily my favorite Madden ever. The Madden Ultimate Team game mode offers an endless challenge as you build your team through various challenges

More challenging then previous versions, great graphics and different modes mean the kids and hubby are both happy. Just wish brady wasn't on the cover.

By now we all know what every new Madden game brings. It brings an updated roster with slightly updated gameplay. This year's edition is nothing different, but it doesn't disappoint! The graphics are top-notch, and the online gaming world is alive and well for this game if you want to go head to head with someone remotely. The mechanics are similar to last year, but that's nothing to complain about. My son and I play it on arcade mode a lot which is huge fun because it gives you the ability to make even bigger plays on both offense and defense.

Great game. Graphics are incredible. My son plays the story line game, which is pretty detailed. Lots of options, for plenty of game play fun.

Well worth the purchase. Graphics getting better a lot of new features. Play against friends online or other people in multiplayer mode

Alot of people who reviewed this game gave it 1 star or 2 stars. But honestly that rating couldn't be any further from the truth. This game is a solid game. The arcade mode is fun... you should see plenty of forced fumbles and hard hits. The simulation/exhibition/standard mode is fun too. But it just doesn't have a huge improvement from Madden 17. I think that's most people's gripe about the game. Graphically it looks noticeably better.. but the HUD's & overlays are identical to madden 17. So that's probably why everyone rated it 1 or 2 stars. But make no mistake about it. It's still fun. Its just not leaps and bounds ahead of the previous installment. But for $30, I'd definitely buy it.

I've played Madden for over 10 years. The franchise seems to be in a really good place right now, although sometimes I feel like they innovate without a real need... which can just create unnecessary new stuff to learn. In any case, the game is quite good. I mostly play Franchise... but I bought the GOAT content to try out Ultimate... which is fun, but also IMO became unnecessarily complex this year to the point that it seems like a money pit. Nevertheless, Franchise drafting is great (the trade mechanic has tightened for CPU teams), and the gameplay itself is fun, online and off. In all, another solid addition to the franchise.

Over the last year, Madden has continued to push the bar with its games, and this is no exception. While its not drastic change from last year, the subtle updates make a big difference in making it a realistic experience. From pressing at the line of scrimmage as a DB or trying to get out of press as a WR. Also, the addition of Longshot, the story mode, is much needed and a great experience. I keep telling myself, "This is going to be the last time I get Madden for a while" or "I can't wait for 2K to get back into football", but its hard to do that, when EA actually wants to make a good game. A great pick up!
