this is the perfect starter guitar just AWESOME !!

Bought this as a gift for my 12 yr old who wanted to learn how to play. Its really easy to handle & great for a beginner.

My daughter needed a good starter guitar to practice on. So far this one has done everything she needs it to do. The quality is acceptable for the price. I would recommend this to other beginners.

He really took to it. Fit well, and good construction on the guitar. Gibson always comes through. Have an electric from them I love, play all the time.

Honestly, I bought it as a reward for my grandson's bravery at having to have surgery. I had no idea how it was really a gift to me. The hours of singing and dancing by the grandchildren....$89 could have been$189 and still worth it.

first one, there were two stray white dots on the face, and the d string broke as i tuned it. the second one was really bad, the fret edges were sharp and caught my fingers, the pick guard was half on, half off, so by comparison the first one looked and felt much better, but the second one the strings did not break. i ended up keeping the first one, and returning the second. good value for first guitar for a beginner.

The maestro sounds great. It came with the pics, and its perfect for self teaching.

The guitar looks good and the feel is nice but the strings sounds horrible probably wouldn't recommend this guitar

It's exactly what I was looking for to give my daughter without breaking the bank only to find out she didnt' really like guitar after all.

Okay, guitar was fairly good. It was much too small for my son, though. (Normal adult male size?5'11"/ 200lbs)This was returned to the store for a refund because pieces were missing. It was supposed to come with, Instructional cd's, strap, picks, strings and a fabric case. Apparently, someone already took this home since some items were missing. I wish Best Buy would've inspected the item before putting it up for resale. If thinking about this package for smaller child, I think it's a great buy. It's supposed to have everything needed to learn basics, like cords, tuning, replacing strings. Not for intermediate and up.
