    This was a Christmas gift for my 15 year old Granddaughter. I think it was her favorite present. One month later she still loves it and continues to practice. It's truly a "beginner's" model and comes with a teaching CD.

    We bought this for our son (7 years old), and for the little he uses it, it is a great value for the money. However, I think if we start him in lessons, we will need to get something more "solid."

    Great guitar if you're just messing around with instruments or need something to get started, just keep in mind this is not a full size guitar as i made that mistake.

    the guitar is not bad. there are worse beginner guitars out there. the learning dvds that come with it are great but only a portion of the whole series. if you shop around at a true music/guitar shop you can find a much better guitar for not a whole lot more. if you truly want a guitar and this is all you can afford, not a bad purchase. take it to a guitar shop for them to set up though.

    I found it difficult to get my fingers in the proper position on the frets due to the frets being small. I returned the instrument to Best Buy.
