Great for Beginners!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok,my Re-newed interest in playing was sparked from Rocksmith. The sole reason I bought this kit. Granted, this is the kiddy version of a real Gibson, but it is solidly built. (I've read a few other reviews about it being shoddy... I guess you win some and you lose some.) But just remember, this is NOT a $1K guitar! Amp and supplied videos and cables were all ok. Extra strings, yeah but get a set of Ernie Balls while at Best Buy :) Now in the What's Not So Great response above... SET THIS UP. Intonation was Waaaay of. Action was a little high. But this is TOTALLY adjustable from headstock and bridge. (Bridge is fixed for all 6 strings, not individual. My advice for this guitar. It's a low cost electric kit. And if you know what you're doing or take to to a professional and Set it up, it really really does the job!

Great beginner guitar!

Everyone I showed it to thought I had been playing for years just from the look of it. It looks nothing like a beginner guitar. It looks stage ready. I love it. I have been practicing with it on Ubisoft's Rocksmith, great game, and it holds a tune very well and keeps it. I would recommend this guitar to anyone.

Great guitar for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Family got this for me as a Christmas gift, since the guitar I had was garbage - this plays great, has good tone (I play through a Line 6) the DVD's and practice amp went to my youngest daughter to play with. For the price, a really good guitar.
