    It is the interface to use the factory steering wheel buttons on your car with an after market radio. Manufacturer web site has good instructions to program unit. Best way to wire up unit to car and radio can be confusing due to extra options for multiple type radios. Some options on radio may need direct wiring not use this module for all inputs of the radio.

    A little spendy but it retained so many features in my vehicle.. I wouldn't go without it if your installing an aftermarket radio and looking to keep steering wheel controls and read car data...not 5 star because I can hear a whine (that follows the engine rpms) through my speakers and the best buy tech said it's because of this hsrness
