Doesn't work perfectly with my car, but it does more than it said it would. I not only retained normal operation (door delay, factory amp use and control, steering wheel controls, etc.) but it does display the radio station and some info on the in-dash display which it said it wouldn't. Plus you can program it so that steering wheel buttons do more than one function (e.g. hold vol - and it mutes the radio). The ability to plug it into the ODB port and get performance and engine info was icing on the cake. The only downside is programming it. The web app has to use DirectX, I honestly wasn't even sure if I still had a web browser that would let me use DirectX with Edge being the default on Windows 10 machines. Luckily I is still lurking in the background. Once I got that sorted the programming was simple and straight forward. If you are going to get a high-end radio for your modern ODB II car, do not get one without the Datalink port and definitely use one of these!

Excellent product, i had it installed on my 2007 chev tahoe, it worked perfect. I am able to use buttons on my steering wheel, which is what i was worried about.

I had to purchase this for the car audio guy to install my new multimedia receiver in the car. Installer was great. He was able to fix a few issues I had and this item has been worth it. A little on the pricey side but I needed it right away for the install so I didn't have much choice.
