I have the other Mafia games in this series and even though I had the digital copy of this game I had to get the physical copy especially at the sale price Best Buy had it for. Now we are enjoying the story and action. I still have to say that the first Mafia is my favorite but this game comes in a close second.

It took me to play through the game for about 9 hours at a reasonable pace to also explore the world but focus on the story. While I was playing the story, it felt well done and interesting and I could imagine playing through the story again. The main character Tommy Angelo who you get to play with felt good but also sad the further into the story you get.

I played this game when it came out on the ps2 and loved it but this remake is still as awesome as the ps2 just with better graphics and the story is freakin awesome. The game is linear but if you like really great stories and wanna play something good? Play mafia you will enjoy it

A welcome return to one of the greatest games every made. Highly recommend - the story is great as ever, with some nice additions, and the update to graphics, gameplay, etc. was handled well. There are some quirks to it, but they've been updating regularly since launch and most of these have been mitigated.

Never got to play the first mafia just 2 & 3 when they was released but I have to say I enjoy the story and good game play. Still Mafia 2 is the pinnacle of this franchise for me but great game

I'm glad they remade this game since I have Mafia 2 and 3 and they are both fun. Great graphics and story highly recommend if your a fan of the series. The world is very detailed and takes place during the prohibition era.

This remaster totally made this game much better than the original Mafia, but there is only glaring problem: Paulie's voice actor. He sounds annoying, and no where near as good as William DeMeo back in the day. If you can ignore the voice actor for Paulie and focus on how well they remastered this game, you're in for a real treat.

Great game exactly like the original just better graphics. Original storyline and freeplay. Its great for people who didn't play it the first time it was released.

Fun mafia game. A true remake from the ground up not just a remaster. Graphics are great, especially for the city, although sometimes the faces look a little funny. Story is fun and engaging but it's a little short by modern standards. They've also added a sandbox mode you can access from the main menu so you are able to run around the city.

Wow this game is amazing. I’ve been playing this game since I was a kid so seeing this game remastered is absolutely mind blowing. The graphics and story are amazing!

Good gameplay. Great remaster from the original Mafia game years ago. I'd say this is better than Mafia 2 and 3. The music, graphics and story add such depth and immersiveness to the game.

I really enjoy the game play it’s different from what I’m use to playing. I enjoy all the old cars on it and police chase you if you speed in the cars. The racing is hard than I thought it would be. Overall it pretty decent game to play.

Nice game with pretty cool graphics and a entertaining story to it! Got me entertained for hours trying to finish it to know the end of the main character!

Mafia remake is an amazing game. They took a classic game and really went above and beyond with game play and graphics. It really has that true gangster feel.

Great game. Worth the buy, remaster of graphics and content makes it worth playing, story allows for hours of game play.

I enjoyed the story and the gameplay for the most part. There were some glitches and some skipping of story that made no sense but I still liked the story.
