Great short game. I've never played Mafia before but its a great game if you're into gangster or mob boss movies. The story is pretty good and they dont fill the game with fluff. It's not too long of a story but not too short either. Get this game and you'll enjoy it.

Would recommend graphics and game play are worth it.

You may want to compare this to GTA but this game actually was in development before GTA3. Mafia also really isn't an open world game, instead the strength here lies in the narrative. A compelling story that is aimed at fans of GoodFellas. This gem isn't one to miss.

So far so good, there is a good story line here and the graphics are pretty decent as well.

Despite some notable bugs, this is an excellent remake of a classic (and revolutionary) game. While playing, it is obvious that 2K put a lot of time, effort, and love into recreating the story and world of Mafia. Extremely nostalgic if you played the original game when it came out in the early 2000s.

This game brought me back to when I played the original version in PC. It has some ease-of-use additions, but other than that it is a full remake of the original game and story. ANY mafia aficionado should play this.

Fun getting to pretend to be a mafia hood without any of the actual crime or violence. I mean, there’s plenty of crime and violence in the game and it’s fun to inhabit that world, but only pretend. And the attention to detail in this period piece is awesome. Real 1920s-1930s era old school. Really fun.

Huge fan of the Mafia series and single player campaigns. Highly recommended if you're looking for a solid open world game that isn't too huge and a well written and fun story to play along with!

Solid old time vibes and music really adds to the game. Seems lacking in exploration and sticks to the mail story which may or may not be an issue for some but given the large map, I’d like the option to explore said city and houses more.

I like the way the story plot started and the way it ended and there was a lot of driving and at some point it was a bit of shooting.but I also liked the way the game sometimes helps you out of a tough spot when you get stuck in the game

I’ve played mafia 2 and 3 and enjoyed them, never got to play the first one so I was excited about this game. It’s about 12 hours, maybe more if you get collectibles and has a free roam mode, so the $40 is worth it, it even has a nice case jacket and poster inside too. Great story and characters, i could see myself replaying this.

5 star because I haven’t played this mafia. I’ve played mafia 2 and 3 and I love these games. Great story line and missions. I would definitely recommend this game and also the trilogy. I will be purchasing just to play it again.

game time is a little short but getting it on sale is perfect. $30 is well worth the money. Graphics is good and I like the remake as I've never played the original and get to experience with upgraded graphics.

Mafia is a nice game with a GTA style of gameplay but more realistic. The cinematics are great. If you like gangster movies then this is the game for you.

I never played the original Mafia, but when this was announced, it was very interested and it's hands down one of the best remakes I've played in a long time. Recommend buying!

This game is fantastic. The graphics are incredible - not quite as good as RDR2, but very impressive considering the original game was made almost 20 years ago. Great story as well.

I had high expections for this game being a huge fan of mafia 2 and being quite disappointed in mafia 3 in some ways, I was very satisfied of how linair it was and how great story went all the way through:)
